So expensive and Problematic ink
I shouldn't have bought The Workforce WF-3620. I never thought the inks are very expensive. I bought this 27XXL version for my daughter's school homework. Every time i print I always have to perform the Maintenance Head Cleaning because the print out always come out horrible. And every time I have to print to see the output and obviously consumed the ink. Honestly, since I bought this in September I have only printed probably less than 20 pages. Now I got a message that the ink is almost gone. I was thinking of buying the cheap inks but I'm afraid to break the printer. I'm now on the market of actually buying a different printer.

My Epson printer decided that it did not like this cartridge
My Epson printer decided that it did not like this cartridge. I always use this and its never been a problem before. I can't easily return it as I only opened it a month after buying and Amazon makes it impossible to return faulty products after one month. You have to go through customer services who try hard to fob you off to go to the manufacturer. Pretty illegal behaviour on the part of Amazon.Regardless, I've had enough with inkjets. Just bought a cheap laser printer for £50 with black ink only. Toner seems much much less expensive then buying overpriced inkjet inks.

Beware of Priming & Cleaning Cycles
Epson quality ink, but beware of Epson print head cleaning cycles and priming cycles. Never remove the cartridge if you don't need to as the printer wastes an incredible amount of ink during the priming cycle. These cartridges are not bad value (for OEM ink) but only if you print regularly. Epson's fixed print heads clog so easily that you'll waste a lot of the ink on cleaning cycles if you only print occasionally.

Production quality has dropped right off
To date I have ONLY used Epson inks. But Epson are clearly having a quality issue at present - I'm now returning my third faulty 27XXL cartridge. Tellingly, even the Amazon call assistant advised going for a different brand, which makes a mockery of only using genuine inks - but if the genuine inks are coming out as duds, what's the point of paying the premium for supposed quality?

Brilliant - as you should expect at this price
I recently bought an Epson printer and so bought this as a comparison for 'compatible' cartridges (see my review of Office World replacement carts). The results are very crisp and so far the longevity is promising. Given that 90% of my printing is black, I think I'll stick with these for work.
