There is not water pump or thermostat in this kit!
This was a lot better option than buying a used engine. The least expensive used or rebuilt engine I could find was around $2600.00. The thing that didn’t make a lot of sense was there is no water pump in this kit and it really should come with the thermostat and gasket as well. Overall it was okay!

You get what you pay for.
One of the head gaskets was defective and I had to purchase another set from a reputable brand. Had to pull the engine twice which is never good when trying to reduce cost.

Stay away from this set. They leaked as soon as I started the car. I ended up redoing the gaskets with felpro gaskets.

Timing belt failed after 18 Months
I purchased this kit in January of 2018 and installed it on my Subaru. The timing belt failed in July of 2019. I have to tow the car 500 miles to get it home and then spent another $800 to repair it.
