Q: Is this microwave safe?

No, its not microwave safe. The Glass heat up to much and it can cause burns. Its not dish washer safe either, the print on the glass will wash out over time.

This glass is made from soda lime, not borosilica. Borosilicate is much more stable and can take temp changes, but after 1995 manufacturers switched to soda lime, which is not as stable, to cut costs. That's why lots of people go to thrift stores for the old Pyrex and Corning Ware. The stuff they make now is not safe.

Q: Just broke my last 60 ml (2 oz) shot glass that shows measuring lines every 5 ml. can't find another anywhere. can anyone tell me where to buy one?

This one has lines every 10 ml all the way to 120 ml. Just looked at it again and it has tsp markings. Since one tsp = 5 ml this one might work for you.
