Easy to use takes up small space well made

Easy to use and plenty strong enough for our 50-pound, 10-year-old dog. Only criticism is the surface is slicker than I thought it would be. It's not a pliable rubber, but more like a hard plastic. Going down my dog doesn't have any issue, but going up it her feet scramble a bit. But still overall far better than her jumping up and down at her age.

I bought this after rescuing a very chunky pitbull who had trouble climbing and jumping. While this ramp does help me get him in to my car it is pretty janky and slippery. I would probably opt for something with a rubbery surface rather than plastic.

The ramp works great to get my 80lb dog into the truck. It is lightweight but strong. Folds and stores really well.

The most important thing about this collapsible dog ramp is that the surface is made out of hard plastic, very slippery. The first time my 13-year-old dog tried to use it she slipped off of it sideways going down and I could hear her poor nails dragging on the rigid hard plastic almost like nails on a chalkboard. Unfortunately it's unusable due to this, and there's no way to add any kind of sticky coating to it as the way that the three pieces slide into each other there's very little clearance if I was to attach a piece of carpet or rubber or something onto the surface. For this reason I am returning it and I've already purchased a folding ramp from Petco that has a very textured almost Astroturf feel to it which gives dogs much better grip and traction. Just hearing my poor girls claws as she was desperately trying to find traction as she was sliding down the ramp was enough to almost break my heart, especially as it has taken a while to get her used to and trusting ramps.

So I'm going to contradict all who said "sent it back" or "can't use it, it don't work unless fully extended"..... that is if you are SETTING IT UP IN THE VEHICLE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES this works PERFECTLY between our vehicles..."they're all the same" you claim...Nope, our vehicles are as follows: 2003 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4, 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport, 2019 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4, and a 2006 Nissan Altima. it does NOT fully extend for some of those vehicles, yet is solid when placed in THE correct POSITION...this I trust this item with my PTSD dog... and that dog means the same as everyone that was under my command. So take it for what it is. I WOULD (and did change) one thing...the "rubber" is hard as plastic...so I used spray adhesive and carpet to make it better on my dog's paws. otherwise you can't go wrong.

Worked exactly as advertised

My only concern has been that my dog slips on the ramp. I wish it had more of a non slip tread.

My dog dosent like the hard plastic and we had to cover it with carpet so he would use it
