This is the second unit I have purchased, the first one lasted a week before giving up and being returned to Amazon. As I liked the unit I ordered another one. This arrived and I plugged it and tried to turn it on, but although the power supply LED was on the blue light on the on/off switch on the unit would not illuminate. I played around with the plug from the power supply to the unit and the blue light flickered on and off. On pushing the plug in as hard as I could the power light came on but as soon as I released it, out it went. I decided to take the base off the unit and remove the circuit board. On plugging the power in, it worked perfectly without the plug going through the plastic case. To solve this problem I took a drill to the case and enlarged the hole so the plug would fit through and reassembled the unit and it is now working, however this should not be necessary on a brand new charging station. To sum up this review, it would appear that there is a design fault with the plug and in essence a longer plug should have been used on the lead to allow for the thickness of the plastic cover. Since making this modification, the Okra USB Charging station is working perfectly.

Want to offer an update to my poor review below. Great customer service. They replaced the charger. We have several and love them. Family and friends all copied. This just must have been a bad one but customer service stood behind it I even travel With this rather than looking around hotels or guest rooms looking for plugs.Great gift All ages love having their devices organized for easy charging.This was the old reviewIt stopped working after a few weeks. Have several others that work well. This is just a bad one...but I am stuck.

We have thick covers on our iPads and they would not fit in the slits. Most people have covers on their iPads and there is no way I am going to take it off every time I need to charge it. It also did not come with any cables. Maybe it mentioned that in the description and I didn't see it? Anyways, wish it came with cables and adjustable slits. I returned it for this reason. Otherwise I bet it's a great product if you don't have my stipulations!

Update. Like others, it has stopped working and is now a brick. It was great at first, but no longer. Very disappointed.This is the best charging station I have ever used. It charges my devices very fast and adjusts the various requirements of those devices. Excellent value

Bought 2 of these a year apart, the new one wore out after only 4 months of use, won’t charge a single device. Ran through standard troubleshooting procedures with each port and verified cables, it’s the Okra Charging Station.

I would give zero stars if I could. This is less than two months old and extremely temperamental. Sometimes it will turn on and many times it won't, and it has been known to turn itself off. I was expecting reliable charging service and it does not offer that.Update: I found the packaging and contacted IBD. They sent a replacement unit. I hope this one works better, but great customer service.

This product stopped working within a few months. If you jiggle the cord it MIGHT turn back on for a few min. Not worth itETA: customer service saw my review and sent me a new unit. We had similar issues with the new one, although it worked a little better. The customer service was very good and responsive.
