5 PCs for 2 YEARS

Between my wife and I, we have three lap tops and two desktops. I use this even on our older ones that we keep mostly as back up, and this tool keeps them virus free and functional. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I didn’t have any virus’ on any of my computers, so I can’t speak to that functionality, but it did a through job of searching for them and seemed efficient at doing so. I’m glad it works on muliple computers, since I think most of us have more than one.

i down,loads alot of songs from frost wire i have a collection on an external ssd connected to this laptop and i,m always looking to add new songs to me collection and with downlodds you usually get viurs or malware because you never know what youre downloading with the songs. and this program has been the best investment i,ve ever made to protect my computer irs super easy to use. and it easy to use you just stick in the usb you to file explorer on the left side look for fix me stick you click on the file then click on fix me stick it will update first then it will shut and restart the laptop and ti will automatically start of after the computer restart . Once it stops scanning it will show what it found and give you the option to remove.not like that anti-virus progarms that its a long process to remove a virus.i have macafee but onlu for protection to remove and find virus i use fixmestick never expreirnce anything getting away from program like i ve had with mcafee .i give this program on a scale from 1 to 20 a 20+. A mustin your srsenal to protect against viruses and malware.I,VE had three laptops and i,ve never gotten any serious damage done to then because of this program. irts 100 percent acuurate and finds whatever.

This is an interesting device that I purchased not long ago. I finally got to use it on two of my computers and it seemed to work very well. I do suggest that the user pay attention to the instructions on the screen and not to the ad on TV. If you wish to use it on you computers, I suggest you disconnect any aux hard drives you may have. I have several on my computers to be used as backup and I have thousands of pictures on them, and if left connected to the computer it will add enormous amout of time to the scanning process. You do not just insert it into a USB port and wait a couple of minutes: it may take hours to just scan the device. Once the scan is complete, then you are given the option of erasing any errors or viruses found which only then takes a matter of seconds to clean. It took me 91/2 hours to scan one of my machines, but when I detached the aux hard drive, it took about 41/2 hours. I have a lot of stuff on my aux hard drives, mainly pictures which should not need to be scanned. Otherwise, it seemed to work well and clean up my machines. I do strongly recommend it, though I only gave it 4 stars because of the time it takes to complete a full scan. But it is easy to use and quickly erases viruses once detected. I got mine from Amazon, not the TV and bought the one for two years after first using it and will cover 5 devices; after 2 years you can renew the device for use. You can use it as often as you like during the two years. Get yours if you need it or spend a lot of time on the Internet as I do.

The stick worked the first time exactly as described in the listing. It took a long time for a pc and then a laptop. But, everything went well. I received multiple emails suggesting I should run the stick regularly. Second round of effort began well. Inserted stick and followed directions which has program connect with their site and download the updates. At some point, the program stopped and the indicator showed it did not complete the download. But, 12 hours of patiently waiting and finally I had to reboot computer. Attempting to run program and the executable program on the stick had vanished. So, the stick is essentially dead having no way to execute. I am not new to computers and know how to run install programs having done such for decades. Program is dead and instructions on vendor site don't help.

The FixMeStick works outside of Windows, does not need Windows, and does not crash as a result of a Windows flaw, virus, etc. That is a virtue, I have four computers: two PCs and two laptops. Originally I bought a three-computer device (excluded one of my computers); later I gave it to a friend and bought a five-computer device (covered all four computers). The two PCs are hardware-identical, so the FixMeStick should have worked on both PCs. However, one PC refused to work with the FixMeStick. I contacted the company and worked with a technician, who remotely scanned the problem PC. Everything is okay now. Their engineers are supposed to let me know why they think this one odd PC refused to cooperate with FixMeStick. This rating system allows whole stars; I would like to call it 4-1/2 stars. It's not the company's fault that I have an uncooperative PC. UPDATE: The company has stuck with me, and stood by their product. I wanted to find fault with them, but I guess this one is on me. The problem seemed to be with the FixMeStick, but evidently the problem is with that one computer. I hope I don't have to replace the motherboard.

Found a couple buried malware items in my system but took over 13hrs to run the scan.

Really worth the money.

I have read the reviews. One of the reviews stated that if you have External Drives plugged in, unplug them because on his computer with the external drives it took 9 hours. Well I have 5 External drives plugged in to my computer. I did not watch the Fixmestick every second, but it took 2 hours to scan my computer. There were only a couple of viruses found and it took less than a 1/2 hour to complete,. Really I didn't watch. I just instructed it to clean and then went in to the other room. When I went back to check a 1/2 hour later it was done. I am very pleased with this, especially since the BEST Geek Squad stated that the Virus Protection I have on the computer will only do so much. Furthermore, Best refused to sell me Virus Software that would clean any viruses to come in on the computer. I will still use geek squad for other software issues, but I am very impressed with the FixMeStick.

FixMeStick is a great product. Works well. Highly recommend.

I really liked the idea of this but I just couldn't get it to work.. some sort of problem with my computer. So why then 3*? Quite simply because the support the company gave.. there were loads of emails and live chats to help.. they did everything they could.. I know others that use these and work great.. if it was on their service alone it would have been a 5* it is just a shame.. fast refund too..

Do not buy this item unless you are absolutely certain that you have a virus on your computer. I ran the FixMeStick on my laptop and desktop computers and it found nothing at all.

I have used FixMeStick in the past and found it to be very handy. It gives you peace of mind if you're not very computer savvy and want a reliable virus removal tool.
