Nice and affordable mechancal option
Never owned a water flosser before, but have this device for a couple months now and it is very good for tonsil stones. A nice feature is that you have full control of the water pressure by varying how many times you pump it. It being fully mechanical makes it simple and always ready to go without the need of recharging. Best part of is the low price point when compared to battery operated water flossers I was looking at. One thing to keep in mind is that I do not think it can reach the water pressures needed operate as a "true" flosser, but for my use case it works wonderfully. While I do not use it daily It has held up well so far and I hope to get a lot more use out of it.

WOW!!
I use this product morning and night and LOVE it!! For the price point, it's a great value. Seeing all the food debris removed from my mouth and floating down the drain gives great satisfaction that my teeth are getting a good cleaning making my teeth and gums healthier. Higher pressure gives a stronger jet so I pump away. Also like the compact size as I don't feel I'm using a small appliance. The handy strap allows me to hang on my bathroom shelf. I like that there is one less thing in my house needing batteries. That was a factor in the purchase of this item. My coworker loved my rave review so much, to my surprise she purchased a second device for me. I'll never go back to using string floss again as it just doesn't seem as effective.

Skeptical at first even after reading reviews but it works!!!!
I had been dealing with small tonsil stones on and off that past few years and had used a water pick in the past (the scooper/scraper) but couldn't use it because I have a poor gag reflex. I was very skeptical at first but decided to give this a try since it was a water spray rather than a scraper and there were many reviews say it actually works. I still couldn't wrap my mind how a water spray could scrape off these stones, but to my amazement, this ACTUALLY WORKS. The tonsil stones, or at least the ones I have that are small and barely lodged on the sides and the spray is strong enough to pop it out. Albeit I had a couple dry gag reflexes and dry heaves with each spray, but it was enough to do the trick.I think unfortunately though, the stones will keep coming back. I definitely think there are small pockets all throughout our tonsils which will forever build them up unless you have yours removed. Regardless, HIGHLY recommended especially for those that have a very poor gag reflex. FYI, if you tonsil stones and notice bad breath, they really do smell (I gave that tiny small stone a whiff and it freaking stinks lol) so removing them should help.

MULTIPLE REFILLS REQUIRED
The speed and pressure at which you have to exert on this thing, is not worth the trouble. The tank empties very quickly so stopping and refilling multiple times is required. Also it's a bit messy because you have to repetitiously push the button over and over, and quickly so it'll have some effect, and that creates quite a mess. My kids think it's fun but it doesn't actually work well.

Great for kids or traveling
My son had to get a tooth pulled so I wanted him to have a water flosser to rinse the area after he eats, and also to rinse his teeth off. The regular water piks are too powerful. This is perfect because you can control the pressure and he actually thinks it's fun to use and looks forward to using it. We put mouthwash in it and he uses this after brushing and after eating anything sugary. It doesn't require electric or batteries and is great for traveling also.

Not quite what I expected
I guess I expected this to dislodge tonsil stones , like a tonsil stone hunter or something lol like, you direct the sprayer to the back of your throat and it would somehow find a stone and bring it out...it doesn't do that . It's only good if you can actually see a tonsil stone , spray it, then it'll come out..my thing is, if it's already out, I don't need the sprayer, I can simply remove it with a q-tip or my finger , like I've done in the past..I mixed water and mouth wash together and use it to spray my mouth ..it's a powerful force behind the sprayer and you will gag, but it's not deadly ..buy it, if this is what you are ok with ...It is well made and sturdy and easy to use and take apart and easy to assemble. Inexpensive and arrive quick.

Short last
Fell apart after a month. Worked great for my daughter for the First little bit but the top spout won’t stay on anymore.

Better than I thought
For the first month I got this. I thought I had bought junk because I couldn't get it to spray. I realized it unscrews and you pump it in the base. This helps the spraying action. I now love it. No electricity needed. It can travel. Once you figure out how to use it, it's a great product. I want to buy some for my kids and they are economical when you consider the cost of the electric ones. The only thing lacking are additional attachments but I'm content with just the one. My teeth feel clean after use. My dentist appointment is soon and this makes flossing a breeze. There is a learning curve with it being messy after use.
