We purchased this water dispenser mostly in an effort to reduce the amount of plastic we were using every week from buying gallons of spring water at our local grocery store. To go along with it, we bought from another major retailer four "American Made" brand 5-gallon reusable jugs, which fit the dispenser perfectly, as well as a bottle storage unit. However, after further reading of the online manual, the adapter is supposed to "click" in place over the neck of the bottle, but it should still be loose so as to allow the pumping mechanism to work.After conquering that self-imposed hurdle 😒, we then thought it wasn't getting cold or hot enough. Well, lo and behold, we had forgotten (or, rather, didn't even know they were there) to turn on the hot and cold switches on the back of the unit. I am happy to report that the hot water is hot enough that I just burnt my tongue after drinking hot chocolate too fast. 🤦‍♀️Overall, this seems to be a great unit, and we are pleased to no longer have our kitchen overrun by empty spring water bottles waiting to be recycled. I will report back if any issues arise.

This is one of the best things I've ever purchased!However, my hot water was not dispensing.. and I don't mean that it wasn't HOT, I mean that the water would not come out of the left side at all. I ended up taking the top off by removing the top two screws (see 1st picture). You kind of have to use a bit of force to pull the top piece off, so be careful, but it will just pop off if you work with it a bit. Next I compared the hot and cold sides to see if I could notice any difference, and sure enough.. there is a plastic piece that comes down when you push the button and it is supposed then push another piece down which allows the water to dispense.. but mine was off-set, so it wasn't pushing down properly, and no water would come out. All I had to do was push the two pieces so they lined up (see 2nd picture) and bada-bing, it was fixed! I now have a steady stream of HOT water that comes out with ease. Hopefully this will help anyone else who encounters the issue, and will prevent you from having to call maintenance or purchase a new unit completely.

I have enjoyed this for over a year and the pump all of the sudden went out...after googling Primo 1-800 number I called and gave my model and serial number, gave her my address and she said my replacement is on its way for free!! How awesome was this news because we have really missed using it while it’s been down! Would give it five stars but since it did break just right after a year I thought 4 stars was more fitting.

After flipping 5 gallon bottles on top of the old dispenser, I decided it was time to get a bottom loading one. It is so easy to just slide the bottle into the cabinet. The water is piping hot, ready for tea, and very cold. We find we are drinking more water because it's so convenient and refreshing. We purchased white...it looks very nice, doesn't show water spots. Very pleased with purchase!

I don't know why I waited so long to get one. I drink a lot of water, my refrigerator doesn't have a water dispenser, and I was tired of filling and refilling my big Britta jug in the refrigerator. I took a chance with the Primo water dispenser and it is wonderful! I set it up myself in the kitchen in no time. The water is nice and cold (I don't use the hot water). It is very quiet except when chilling the water, when it sounds about like my refrigerator or ice maker. I can get new filled bottles, or refill the bottles myself, at most of the grocery stores nearby. One of my best purchases!

Just finish setting up. It was very easy to set up. Run quietly. Hot water is very hot and cold water is also very cold. Although give it a while after turn it on in order to get hot and cold water. Hopefully it’ll work like this for many years to come.Thanks Primos !!

I ordered this Nov. 12 2018 and sometime in mid March 2019 the machine ceased to dispense hot or cold water and the low water indicator continued flash. The water was filled to 4 gallons. I tried unplugging and turning off the back switches then turning it back on. I made sure the the machine was 6 inches away from a wall. None of this helped or changed the fact that the machine was done within 3 MONTHS of purchase. I called the number on the manual for trouble shooting and customer service was phenomenal. They are sending me a replacement machine at no cost with a one year warranty. I will have to dispose of non working the machine myself, but overall this was easy. I'm just hoping the second machine works. TBD

So easy to set up. I drink a lot more water during the day now. Healthier. No more plastic bottles in the fridge and cold water available all the time. Love it.
