I have been using thing product for over 6 years now. It helps keep my acne prone and sensitive skin moisturized and smooth, especially in the winter months.

I do not care at all for this skin product. The smell is nothing special. I've almost always had dry or itchy skin, so I've been around the skin care market. I think this made my skin itch more and little red bumps formed after application. Either they caused the bumps or I had them before application and the product didn't relieve my discomfort. Most Aveeno or Nivea lotions will sooth my skin if I'm having an itchy breakout of some sort. I think this made it worse. I would not recommend to anyone.

Please take this review with the understanding of why I ordered it. I read in the description that it was intensely hydrating and good for skin with psoriasis and eczema, which I have. I haven't had the best luck finding creams that work to help my skin feel and stay hydrated and this cream really wasn't any different.The best part is that it is free of fragrance. However, I found that it was a bit too light to really hydrate my incredibly dry skin.With that said, for normal skin or dry skin problems on the face, this cream works well. It's very light, sinks in, and doesn't have a greasy or oily feel at all. This cream is perfect for summer because you won't get a sweaty face, which is uncomfortable.I'd recommend this for mildly dry skin but wouldn't expect miracles if you have super dry skin or psoriasis.

I got this cream because during the Fall and Winter season I tend to get really dry skin to the point where it can crack and bleed. In having my skin become so irritated, I am constantly having to apply creams, lotions, etc. However, the Dermatologic Cosmetic Laboratories Ultra-Comfort Cream I found myself having to apply usually only 1-2 times a day to the needed area.The cream is unscented. It rubs into the skin gently and absorbs deeply in only a little bit of time. It feels cool to the touch and I can feel it working. I have used this on my elbows, hands, feet, and face. My skin wasn't left feeling heavy, oily, or irritated in any such way. Instead, my skin was left feeling smooth, comforted, and soft to the touch.Application in the morning and evening works best or if take a shower or bath it's best to apply because I often find my skin dries out more after such.This comes in a nice looking container. It has a twist off lid on the outside and a lift-off panel on the inside to make sure the cream stays sealed and doesn't seep out at all. A little bit of this goes a long way so even though it seems like a smaller amount it lasts a very long time.The price tag is up there but the quality and effectiveness of the product speak for itself in making it worth the purchase. I recommend it.

This cream is packaged and priced (at the time of this review) as a premium product.It is light and absorbs quickly. The natural smell is pleasant. The consistency is very uniform.For me it felt good on the skin - my husband reported some tingling sensation.The effect lasted long with a light breezy feeling on the skin.It certainly moisturizes but not very intensely - I am skeptical about it being able to relieve eczema, psoriasis etc (as the description suggests) better than heavier moisturizing barrier creams.I can say with ease it is nicer than an average facial moisturizer one can buy for $10-$20 but I was not blown away like I was with other creams I have used around the $100 price point.4.5 Stars rounded up to 5.

Just awful. Overpriced, watered down slimy lotion. This supposedly replaces the old DCL facial moisturizing cream, but it is NOTHING like it. Not sure who DCL sold out to but I am now looking for a new skincare line, because the new DCL products I have tried are all awful. So disappointed. Don't waste your money.

I can't tell if this really works better than other creams or not. I used my old cream on one side of my face and this DCL on the other side for seven days. I honestly couldn't tell if my rosy cheeks responded better with this new cream or the old. I think my choice will be based on cost when I go to reorder.
