I needed an adapter for one of my mobile cameras for mounting various accessories. This fit the bill perfect. It's solid machined aluminum and once you lock it into place, it doesn't move. You have full adjustment to get it into any angle you want as well. Overall, I definitely recommend!

I was looking to mount my audio recorder from my camera's hot shoe mount and the adapters that I have are not up to the task of supporting all of the weight.This slips right into the shoe and secures the audio recorder nice and tight. The included Allen wrench tightens down the the pivot point to keep a very strong bite on the pivot, preventing a relatively heavy audio recorder from moving around.It's deceptively strong for how small it is. I would highly recommend it if it fits your needs.

This mount itself seems well made/machined. The Screw part is plastic however, so time will tell.

I bought this to mount a field monitor for video streaming in my home office. I Use the field monitor to output the camera video so I can see the video stream and tell when the camera is turned on. The cold shoe mount is well made and robust; it is all metal. It comes with a little hex wrench to tighten the three screws that adjust tension forward and backwards and left and right. It has a 1/4-20 threaded screw up top and a 1/4-20 threaded hole down below. If your application needs a tilt head like this, this version is a good choice. Will buy again if I need another.
