Edge Trim Black Small, Fits 1/16" (20 Feet)

I needed to cover sharp edges to a correlated sheet metal accent wall. It worked great--easy too bend, fast to attach. It won't have a problem staying.

I’ve used two different versions of this type of product: one with adhesive inside the slot, and this kind, with metal pressure clips embedded in the rubber. The latter is much more reliable. The problem with the adhesive-based product is that you only get a couple of opportunities to position it before the adhesive locks on. Not that you can’t remove the strip easily, but after a couple of sticks, the glue quits working, and now nothing is holding the kerf strip on. The metal clips, on the other hand, grip the sheet metal edge tightly, and being made of some kind of spring steel, they don’t seem like they will loosen up over time. Others have reported that the product has a chemical smell, and I can confirm that, but I don’t find it objectionable. I just let it sit outside for the day in the sun, and that seem to greatly diminish the odor. One last thing: this works perfectly for lining sharp-edged holes in sheet metal that cables are going to pass through, to protect the cables from chafing..

Worked great on an inside corner. 1/16" metal. Very secure fit even on the vertical surface. No need for adhesive.

I used this to prevent underdash wiring in an old Porsche (1970) from wear and potential shorting on the sharp edges of the sheet metal. Fit well and forms nicely to bends and angles and grips tightly with the internal metal clips.

Very please with this trim. It conforms easily to curves and corners. Looks quite good and protects the sharp edges very well.

I had my doubts, but am actually impressed. I made a metal box with lid. Every time I walked by I'd slice myself open on the edge. I looked locally and found nothing. I saw this and decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did. It is metal reinforced. For the corners, I made a diagonal cut through the slide portion NOT all the way through. I put the thing on. Super easy. It is flexible enough for corrugated metal. I recommend this to everyone.Okay. So I purchased 2 more for a different project. Yes, I believe in this product that much. I noticed a pattern from individuals who left 1 star reviews. They looked at the pictures but didn't read the description. "The picture showed" was a common phrase in their reviews. This is a great product. Easy to use..

i was able to make a 90 deg turn with it by carefully trimming the corner. Good value.
