When God Doesn't Fix It Bible Study Guide: Learning to Walk in God's Plans Instead of Our Own

I thoroughly enjoyed this Bible study. Unfortunately, I didn't have a group to do it with. I would like to do it sometime with close friends because I think it would be even more beneficial in a group study. But, even individually, it is very practical, beneficial, and helped me understand the concepts from the Bible better. I read the book before I did the study and I recommend doing that too.

First of all, I love singer and songwriter Laura Story and the song Blessings so when I found this study I immediately decided it was perfect for my Bible study group. We have enjoyed it so much! It comes with a 5 session DVD (12-15 minute weekly videos) to compliment the 5 week study. And you can also download the companion daily devotional Blessings to dive a little deeper. I highly recommend this study. Our Bible study group has learned from it and we now have a better understanding of how to take our "why" questions and turn them into "how" for God's glory.

Actually I received two. Very good ministry dealing with a difficult job situation for many years. I resigned from the position two weeks ago. I was able to give a copy to a friend experiencing similar difficulties at work. Sometimes it is not the people you serve at your job but those who you work with that create difficult experiences. However, we do not war against flesh and blood but by Principalities of Darkness..... So it was a very useful tool to grow in faith and spirituality. We all have our tests to become closer to God and trust Him in every situation. It is not by our strength we accomplish our successes but by God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for mankind.

This powerful testimony of how singer, songwriter Laura Story and her husband Martin walked through the diagnosis and struggles of his brain tumor is both eye opening and bittersweet. At first, I just got the book, because I liked the title, but after watching two of the videos, I was hooked, and purchased the study guide. If you have ever walked with a loved one through illness, you Must at least read this book!

Really enjoyed this study. We did this with a very small group of 4 ladies and it was wonderful. There are small lessons for personal study each week, then the group study lessons. Very easy to lead, plenty of scripture to read and great discussion questions to start lots of conversations. Worth the money.

Very encouraging! I really, really like the vulnerability of Laura Story! Her videos are just the right length (14 minutes) and add a lot to the group discussion. Very good study! I would highly recommend this!

Laura Story is amazing. What an inspiration! Amazing her story, and so beautifully "reminds" us of God's Word and how to use it. Renewing our minds, thoughts, actions. You'll love it, and her! Highly recommended for you Saints out there and those who need to be! God Bless!

Well written and it is easy to read a little, take a break and read more. Very helpful and compassionate.

Really good book, really opens your heart to the things God does in our lives.
