A good way to introduce Pippi to my daughter.
My 5 year old loves listening to Pippi's adventures. She easily follows the story line and can identify all the characters in the book.I found it a tad expensive given it's a thin book with rather short chapters/stories.

It took weeks to arrive
The book is nice but waiting for it for soooo long took the joy away

Brilliant gift
I gave this to my niece as I loved reading about Pippi as a child (my sons loved the stories too!) The illustrations throughout are simple but lovely. Highly recommended princess free reading for girls and boys alike.

Very disappointing
What happen to the hardback comic strip Pippi books with the beautiful and colourful Ingrid Vang Nyman illustrations? I had one one of these books in the early seventies, published by Raben and Sjogren. It was a favourite book of mine as a child.I bought this paperback book as a gift for a relative. So sad it is not what I expected. Though the illustrations are still Ingrid Vang Nyman's. they are not so colourful as in the comic strip hardback Pippi books.
