I live these sketch books! They are well made and have a sturdy outside. The paper is a heavier weight and is great for practicing or permanent art. The paper has some texture to it but is great for sketching!!

These are fantastic art books! The quality is really nice, as well as the size. We use them for our kids for their homeschool art books and they spend drawing in them for hours each day. The paper weight is nice and it works well for their sketch drawings. We have not used them for paint, but love them for colored pencils, charcoal pencils, crayons, etc.

I use it as a watercolor diary for color comparisons. I've been swatching out all my paints and I find the paint lays well onto the paper; though it's wood pulp, not cotton, the paper is good quality. The pages are more like 12" x 9.75" (not 10") but I can set up for 12 or 15 squares per page divided by artist's tape. I only use one side of the paper.The description says cold pressed but I find it a bit smoother than typical cold press. It's very pleasant to write on with Sakura markers. The spiral binding is sturdy and doesn't snag, and the boards for the covers are quite solid and durable.

Catch this on sale, and you get a very nice hardcover book for an excellent price. Like something you would find in a grand old library. Spiral bound, heavy duty, and the paper is thick with a nice texture. I really feel like I got a wonderful deal, I would highly recommend any Fuxi product. 9 x 12, quality made.

Good quality sketch paper. My granddaughter has filled several of these with her sketches. They still look nice. Good quality books for a good price.

The paper quality is top-notch, perfect for all my sketching and drawing needs. Whether you are using pencils, pens, or markers with moderation, the pages hold up great without any bleed-through. The ring binder design is effective; it makes flipping through pages super easy, and you can remove them whenever you want. Plus, the book lays flat while you draw, which is super convenient. The cover is a durable yet it is made out of the same type of paper, so caution with laying any beverages on top of it. Overall, this drawing book has become a great art projects sketchbook.

Use it for making journals and the paper is excellent. Smooth, consistently the same shade and does not bleed when using a fountain pen. Maybe not everyone’s needs, but it works great for me. Price is good, too.

Really good sketch pad . Fine quality pages, thick and have serrated tops so you can tear them off . Will be getting some more of these .
