AquamiraFrontier Tactical Emergency Water Filtration and Straw

I've used it quite a bit in the last two years on streams and rivers in California (Big Sur) and Arkansas (Devil's Den) and on one trip I shared with a family of four and none of us became sick afterwards. The carbon core crumbled a bit on my old purple version of this filter but this one has held up well so far. The rigid non-flexing straw on this version is also much sturdier and holds a seal on the the filter much better. Keep in mind I also look for the cleanest, clearest water I can find and I blow back on the straw after use so I definitely haven't abused the filter or tested it to its limit. I would buy another if I needed one and I have given these as gifts so I definitely recommend them for day hiking purposes and emergency preparedness. I keep a Sawyer mini filter now in my camping bag for heavier use and keep this as a backup in my natural disaster prep bag for its smaller size.

this product is great to carry in her backpack on your person in your camper just in case you're not able to find filters water you can still do your water just about anywherealso the bag that comes with it can also be was used for transportation or a cup

i havent used this yet but i like what i see. i really like the feature of the product where you can hook it up to a water bottle or soda bottle. it looks pretty sturdy and i like that is compact and versatile. it will connect to expensive water bladders.

I purchased this product for 50% cheaper then what I could purchase it locally. I have used it while hiking in the national forrest with no problems. I'll also take it with me when I travel to Mexico.I would recommend it to my friends.

Excellent edition to my survival kit

I loved this filter, is cheap and efficient, and weight almost nothing, great for hiking, climbing, camping or for a BOB.
