I don’t know about a magnet on the actual pop socket, but I just bought one on Amazon that works as a pop socket and is a mag that I love it its the handini

Q: Once applied, If I decide I no longer want it on, will it be difficult to detach leaving case messed up or damaged?

In my experience (after following the directions given by the brand) removing the Popsocket will not only damage the case but also make the popsocket itself unusable. It may be easier to remove right after sticking it on, but if you decide to remove it after a few weeks or longer, it won't work.

Q: Can this popsocket stick to a silicone case? Or does it come with another layer that will?

No, unfortunately, our gel doesn't stick to silicone cases. It will stick to hard smooth surfaces.
