Q: Can this device scan a qr encoded url and automatically visit it?

Yes if scan to a devoce that can browse the web and have a blank web page open.

Q: Does it have in built rechargeable battery or should i apply battery externally?

This scanner have a rechargeable battery, so that you don't apply battery externally.

Q: Will this work with Shopkeep?

The computer sees this as a keyboard so there shouldn't be any problems. The only problem I have had was with a web based system. The issue was solved by changing the typing speed to a slower speed because the system couldn't accept the characters at the default speed.

Q: Can I remove the first and last 12 numbers from a datamatrix code. Only the datamatrix code? Thanks in advance
