Love love love all of CCs books! Not as dramatic as the Clockwork Princess or Lord of Shadows but if you love Malec, you’ll love it. Also not much stakes because we already know spoiler Malec get married.

This was just as sassy as the first one and as always Malec was both hot and adorable. Can't wait for the next one!!!!!

I pre-ordered this book and obviously love it. However, there is one thing wish the publisher hadn't done. I prefer the paperback versions of books and all of my Shadowhunter books are paperback. so when the book arrived I was kinda disappointed and confused as to why it was much taller and wider than the first book. I did some research and found the publishers were different. The first book was published by the American publisher and the second book was from the UK publisher. I really like it when things match and I was a little sad to see that the format had changed. other than that I love the book and the cover art and will of course buy anything that is released after this. though hopefully they try and keep things more uniform from now on.
