My dog must have liked it... it only lasted 5 -8 minutes and it was destroyed in just that time
I liked how it looked and thought it it was durable. Boy was that a mistake in my thinking. Lol the rope thru the ball didn’t last but 5-8 minutes tops! I was totally shock the life of this item was cut short in just minutes. My dog loves to fetch and retrieve the ball back to me. My thoughts was maybe this was going to last at least a week or two. Nope, I was wrong by 13 days 23 hours and 52 mins. It only lasted at most 8 minutes and in this short time it was demolished totally! The rope was out of the ball and chewed in 3 pieces, the ball was in 4 small pieces ! I was in shock that it did not last very long at all... wow shocked is an understatement! But I will not purchase another one of these products ever again... for my experience, it’s a total lost and wasted . Waste of the money spent on it.I will stand far away from this item . It did not suit what I expected from what they described in the description of the products.

Favorite toy
This is our 1 year old GSD/Lab mix's favorite toy. She loves to play both fetch and tug with it. She usually destroys toys pretty quickly and this one has lasted a few weeks already, although she has taken the fuzz off of the tennis ball. It was very cute at first watching her go fetch it and hold the rope while the ball slid to the other end. She'd then bat the ball with her paws with the other end of the rope in her mouth. It took her a little to figure out that she needed to grab the actual ball rather than the rope. The other nice part is that the ball squeaks which she loves. Unlike some other toys, the squeaker isn't too obnoxious for us humans. We've only had it a few weeks but it has already provided hours of entertainment. Not bad for just a few $'s. Our dog is a chewer and likes to shred her toys. Knowing that, she only gets to play with this one when we are around and we don't let her just lay down and gnaw on it. I would happily buy again once she finishes this one off.

Good tennis ball, rope is not substantial
I bought this as an add-on item to meet the quota for free shipping, so I did not go into my purchase look for the end-all be-all of dog toys, that said:My dogs LOVE anything that squeaks, but between a blue heeler/rat terrier mix and black mouth cur, toys get obliterated quickly (I think the record from whole to eviscerated is 15 seconds, but I digress). The squeaky tennis ball was tough enough to annoy me for hours! -much to the pleasure of my four-legged friends. If your pup is tough on toys, it's not going to last forever, and the rope was chewed in half very quickly and seemed to completely fall apart as soon as it was chewed. I would not recommend this toy if you're hoping for a good tug toy, but the rope did help fling the ball extra-far a few times before it was eaten. Despite the rope, I would estimate that the ball got at least 3 hours of solid play time (this is with demon dogs) before the squeaker stopped working, and the ball itself seemed to stay intact for ~5 hours of play time. If that doesn't sound like much, your dog is probably very nice to his toys and you'll get a lot more time out of them.If squeaking gets on your nerves easily, this is not the toy for you; the squeak is high and loud. It will not deafen you by any means, but it's definitely not quiet. If you are expecting the ruggedness of black, Kong, rubber toys, this is not those. If you think your companion will eat that rope in 5 seconds flat, I'd recommend just getting the Kong Squeakair Tennis Balls instead.

Great for Chuck It in the snow
Fits in the Chuck it ball launcher. I can play ball with my dog without having to find the ball under the snow myself. There is a learning curve for the DOG...have to teach them to look for the rope. While it fits well in the launcher, the added weight of the rope and then wet from the ice and snow, you do not get your usually distance on the throw....but it works for those dog that need to play and do something.

Not good with the Nylon rope
I was hoping to make this toy last a while since I got it for $3 then had to pay nearly $7 shipping. Not good with the Nylon rope. For future ideas the rope should be stronger and I think made out of thick fabric rope. My sister's dog within 15 minutes of having the toy tried to eat the rope and I had to take the rope away. But at least he's still got the squeaky tennis ball to play with. I have a picture of what it first looked like and then the second is of what happened to the rope.
