Let me start off this review by saying that I have Crohn's Disease so I spend more time in the bathroom than the average person. I am always looking for things to make my bathroom experience more pleasant. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. It makes it so much easier to go. I recently had an intestinal obstruction and had to spend a few days in the hospital. I couldn't poop to save my damn life for days. They eventually sent me home and literally the moment I put my feet on this stool I pooped. And pooped. And pooped. So basically this stool has ruined pooping any other way for me. Everyone should have one.

If it folded, would have given 5 stars. Easy to put together. All parts included, sturdy, nonslip grips work, well made, good quality, attractive wood.Eliminated squeaks in the foot massager rollers by applying olive oil to the ends of the metal rods with a q-tip, then turning, sliding them back and forth to distribute. Found out the foot massagers cause immediate results to get things moving quickly. Looked it up and they serve to increase circulation & stimulate reflexology points on the soles of the feet which relate directly to bowel and digestive function.

The price on this item fluctuates a lot. I got it for just under 40 dollars, but have seen it much higher, so if it's not something you have to have right away, you might want to wait if the price is unreasonable at the time you're shopping for it.Easy to assemble. Do keep in mind that this is not really adjustable. You can build it at one height or build it at another height. To 'adjust' it would mean taking it apart and reassembling.So, most reviewers have covered this product fairly well, so I don't really need to reiterate. So, I will address an issue that was of concern to our family, even though it won't apply to most of you. But, if it helps even one person...Our toilet was too short for my son (who has disabilities) to get up off of. A small hand rail was all we were able to install due to the location of the stool in the room. It helped, but wasn't enough for me to feel he was safely getting up. We tried the seat risers, but they made for extra cleaning & were a pain for the rest of the family to use. So, we installed a 'lift' at the bottom of the stool. We were very happy with this solution - it worked for everybody, until...Well, my husband had to have a surgery that he probably doesn't want me sharing with everybody, but he now needs to make going number 2 a bit easier. The higher stool no longer worked for him. This product works great for him. For any of you in a similar situation, the stool does straddle the lift (which is wider in diameter than the bottom of the toilet) nicely, so it can still snug up against the toilet for storage when not in use.Good quality, attractive, easy assembly, good product. I wouldn't suggest purchasing it for the foot massager, though, unless you enjoy the sound of a thousand screaming rodents. The high pitched noise is difficult to describe & honestly, it's at a weird height for that - more work than relaxing.Happy with purchase. Didn't give it a 5, because I reserve that rating for items I would recommend to friends to family. My friends & family are cautious with there money, and feel this item is a bit overpriced. There are less expensive items out there that do the same thing, but we were willing to pay this much, because we wanted something attractive (no place to store it) and we wanted the choice of height (with our toilet being such an odd height & configuration, we weren't sure what height would be best for our stool). So, good product, but would only recommend to those that asked where they could get one just like mine. Otherwise, there are less expensive options. Also, I feel the price could be made lower, by not providing a useless foot massager & storage area that will only hold certain types of cell phones. Remove it and charge less for product, or make it functional enough that it can hold a reader's digest, folded magazine, etc.

This is a great product and i feel a must have in every household. We was using a homemade one, when my husband seen this he was so happy. He likes the feet rollers that are on edge. He put this together so fast cause he was excited to get a real one. I like how lightweight it is and how nice it was. Also it came with the tool to put it together, it really wasn't much to it. I'm very happy with my purchase. I have had no problems with the seller and would buy from them again. Very fast with the shipping.

This product arrived without the correct number of screws. With no instruction sheet supplied to cross-reference, it made what should have been quite an easy set-up unnecessarily difficult.No information about how to contact the manufacturer for replacements was provided within boxing nor were any questions answered by them here on Amazon.That aside, I used the skate key tool supplied to stand-in for the missing screw and my squatty set up nicely! The coating on the bamboo provides a pleasant temperature for footsies every time. No shocking cold mid-night-run.The “foot massagers” are really for decoration only. Or something for your toes to fidget with perhaps. But the item is so wonderfully lightweight that it doesn’t sustain the pressure needed for any massage effect to be relevant.This item slides easily out of the way under the bowl. To note, I don’t think it would slide as easily on a rug that is fluffy. I’m able to pull out and push in with just a foot. Rug-users May have to use their hand. It’s pleasant to the eye.

Did not want a floppy piece of white plastic and this just matches what I got going on. Whoever conceptualized this version should be given a raise or promoted. The phone slot on the side and rollers for your feet were a touch beyond what I expected. No silly squatty name plaster all over the unit. Just class.I LOVE IT.Just used it and ahhhhh...it works perfectly helping me to evacuate perfectly. No push. No strain. Put the legs up and go. Love wood. Not into plastic.No need to think about it. This is the one.
