Quality is good, directions simple, they look really nice installed (bought 2). Takes lots of batteries...keeping fingers crossed they will last!? Quality of light was nice - not too cool, both art pieces look fine, and lights have dimmer, timer, and remote control. Hoping brass finish will hold up being close to salt air.

This ight is beautiful! I love the polished look. Nice and shiny. My husband attached it and did a great job. This is the 2nd light I've bougt from this company and I will buy more in the future. Highly recommend!!!

The polished brass and overall construction is excellent. We have several incandescent, wired picture lights in the house and the quality / appearance of this unit is every bit as good as the others we have. The remote is simple to use and the brightness is more than adequate. We only need the lowest setting and the illumination is just fine. Have not had it long enough to see if the batteries hold out as advertised.Others have mentioned that the supplied wall anchor screw kit is inadequate. I tend to agree, but the unit is not overly heavy. As a precaution I used a larger anchor size. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that the LED light is not as warm as incandescent. It tends to wash out colors a bit more. While I would prefer incandescent, the convenience of not having to wire this up to the household electrical is a worthwhile trade-off. With that in mind Ihave no problems recommending it.

I've now bought seven of these since 2020 - that's how much I like them. This is a well-constructed, high quality product. Traditional picture-light design. The brushed brass looks fine on my gilt frames; glad I didn't get the polished brass. I installed directly on the back of the frame. The light is a traditional warm white with 5 light levels and the brightest levels are brighter than I want. I think the battery life is excellent on these - one in the kitchen I keep lit each evening and the batteries last nearly a month. These are the only way I can get this look without putting new electric lines through plaster walls, so I couldn't be happier with them. All the others I see that are battery operated are too contemporary looking, or cheap looking, or cost a lot more than these, and/or are dependent on AAA batteries which last about three days. None of the negative reviews or complaints about these apply to my purchases and use of them.

I've been looking for an appropriate cordless light to illuminate the Thomas Kincade painting that I have in my office. The painting was given to me by my wife, several years ago, and I wanted to illuminate it in a way that brings out the mesmerizing qualities of a Thomas Kincade work. After much research and reading the various reviews on Amazon, as well as on the internet, I decided upon the Concept Lighting 301L. Boy, was it the right choice! The dimensions of my painting are 36" x 28," including the frame. The actual painting itself, however, is 26" x 18." The 18" light is perfect for this size painting. Doing research on the internet, I saw that this light was actually rated as the #1 light in its class. The soft LED lights do not generate any heat or harmful rays that would potentially damage my picture. (This was mentioned in the independent internet review.) Also, the included remote allows me to turn the light on and off, as well as dim the lights, should I decide to do that. One last thing - thanks for all the previous reviewers who suggested using the Sanyo Eneloop NiMH Charger (with 8 AA and 2 AAA batteries; plus 2 C and 2 D spacers. You will also need to purchase the Miraclekoo C Size battery spacer for the Sanyo Eneloop in a pack of 6. I didn't fully understand why, but I did take the advice and it makes sense, now. Instead of having to use 8 size C batteries, you can use 8 size AA batteries, which use much less energy. Also, since they are rechargeable, they ultimately will be much less costly than having to replace size C batteries all the time! Many thanks to all of you who took the time to post your reviews. Great product and works as advertised, anyone know where/how I can get a replacement remote?

Bought this for an art piece that is 24"w x 30"l (framed) and it works quite well. There are about 4 brightness settings and we don't even use the brightest setting. It's very attractive and the lamp housing is adjustable so that you can move it closer to or farther away from the art. It easily attaches to the frame or wall depending on your situation. I don't know about the battery life as we typically only turn it on when we have visitors or guests but we are very happy with it. Several years ago it was a challenge to find a decent battery operated picture light but this one is a big improvement. The small remote control switch is a nice feature. Keep in mind it's battery operated so if you want a powerful bright light this is not the way to go but other than that it fits the bill nicely. We're thinking of getting the larger model for another, larger, art piece.

Wanting to add a light to a painting, I wanted to stay clear of cords and having to drill holes. I picked this light due to the pretty good reviews and comments on longetivity of the light when turned on. So far, I am very pleased with the amount of light it throws, the build quality, and ease of use.I mounted it to the wall using the screws and dry wall anchors, and was able to easily adjust the length of the light, rotation (left or right, up or down).My photo shows the light on the second lowest setting (this gets bright). The hue of the light is not yellow, nor led bright white. This is the perfect shade that balences both.I cannot comment on how long the batteries last, but will update my review when I have a better idea. This uses 3 C batteries and it makes the light kind of top heavy.Giving this four stars due to the significantly higher price for similar lights I've seen on Amazon. I will change my review to 5 stars if the batteries last as long as reviews say they do.
