As described by vendor, no complaints so far.
Works OK so far. Does what it's supposed to. Use it to back up main working drives, so hasn't seen that much action.

WD Red PRO Drive - Just do it!
I'm an IT Infrastructure Engineer and I work for a fortune 500 company. Needless to say I get to play with all of the multi million dollar storage systems from EMC and NetApp to name a few. While we use drives that cost $300-600 depending upon the specs. This is actually a rebadged WD Red PRO drive. Windows pulls up the same model number as the WD drives. Top notch drive high quality and fast!I always burn in new drives with several low level formats before putting anything into production and this drive held up just fine. I bought the non-Pro version of this drive before they released this version. I'll only be buying this drive going forward. If you are on the fence, take my advice and buy it! It's worth every penny!

Exceptional value for a 6TB NAS HDD
I bought this to replace a very loud HGST NAS HD I bought brand new. That damn thing was continually ticking away even during idle (apparently it's a feature). This HD on the other hand, is very quiet. It's installed in my desktop and I don't hear it at all. Even when it's seeking, it's very quiet.I ran a long test using WD Utility when I got it and it passed without any errors. I know this isn't the most strenuous test, but I didn't have time to wait for some of the other more thorough tests. I also checked the HD with WDIDLE3 and the load cycle time was already set at 600 secs so I didn't mess with it. And since WDIDLE3 recognizes these HDs, it pretty much confirms they're WD Reds (don't quote me on this, however). It's only been a few weeks, but so far so good. I'll report back if and when it ever fails.UPDATE: 02.06.17It's been almost 7 months and I've experienced 0 issues. Too bad goHardDrive is no longer offering this HDD for sale (at least not currently).

pretty good
I ran these drives thru a number of different filesystems tests over a 36hr period, then ran them thru a full self-test via S.M.A.R.T. It's been about and month and no issues. Will post back when they fail... hopefully that wont be for a few years.
