Scots Dictionary: The Perfect Wee Guide to the Scots Language

I I'm a Scotsman who is currently in a very close relationship with a lady from Birmingham who has relocated to Scotland some 2 years ago, I bought this book for a joke for her Xmas last year, but now carries it around with her to learn certain Scots words that baffle her, turns out it's a very useful book to have...at least for my partner! Lol.

Bought as a gift for a friend overseas (I am scottish she is not) been a good gift. She is very happy with it.

Much like Scotland's landscape, this is a little book of gems, not just to be used as a dictionary but for dipping into in leisurely moments. Very good. I like it but I'm not really sure why!

Great book, clear and easy to read and full of interesting definitions / etymologies. Good purchase.
