II Digital Chess Clock - Black/Blue

I am extremely happy with my purchase of this clock. I comtemplated over which chess clock to buy - the expensive Chronos or DGT, and others similar. After reviewing all the clocks, ZMF stood out from all the clocks in price, quality and looks/style. Who said chess had to be boring and non stylish. This clock looks good along with many others that come in varied colors. The case is a hard plastic unlike the Chronos, but who cares, it works and is well made. The LED is bright for indoors. It does come with only three pre-set times which canbe easily changed to suit the time limits. ZMF could probably improve more on the memory part. But I do like the on/off button feature and location. Overall this clock by ZMF is a great buy at half the price over the similar looking but overly priced Chronos. I would not be surprised if ZMF clocks start appearing more in local tournaments and chess clubs.

the sensors work great! and so do the lights. I would say the C batteries could be replaced with something easier to get and the price is a bit high, but otherwise the clock works like clockwork!

I really like this clock. I've owned and used various other models (Saitek, Chronos, DGT), and this is a good replacement for the expensive and hard to find Chronos. I like the touch operation, and it's easy to set with all the usual options included. I also like the way it handles displaying a delay during the game - it switches back and forth between the delay countdown and the remaining time, so you can always see both. The only real flaw is the "reset" functionality - you use the middle button to pause the clock, and then you restart it by pushing one of the silver touch-sensitive buttons. If you push the middle button again (which is the intuitive way to restart the clock) it resets! As long as you're aware of this issue and careful to not accidentally reset the clock during a game, it's a great clock in all other aspects.

I've had my clock for almost two years. It recently started inadvertently resetting after hitting one of the metal buttons a little too hard - like at the end of an intense chess game. Otherwise it worked perfectly. Since we were way past time to return, I asked if the clock could be repaired. They said, "We can fix it for free. Send it to our address below." They diagnosed that the batteries (4 C cells) would lose connection for a moment based on possibly being undersized. They put in new batteries and it works great. If I have this issue in the future, I'll know to tighten up the battery connections by adding a metal shim. Outstanding customer service - and a great clock - are why they earned 5 stars from me.

Love it. Good quality. The sensors on the buttons feel great. Easy to use. I thought it would look like cheap plastic but it really doesn’t. The blue lights are clear, and the time is clear and awesome on that blue color. I’m super happy with it. I definitely recommend it.

I really am impressed with this clock. Fairly easy to use functions. I had never used one and had to use the instructions the first time. A 13 year old (who had never used this type) looked at it and figured it out before I could remember the instructions. I love the blue read out as it's easy to see but not glaring. Seem to be very well made and packs in with my roll up chess board nicely.

It's rare to find a good Scrabble clock which requires the ability to go overtime. Highly recommend this one.

This is very expensive, but the clock is amazing and I'm glad I bought it. Keep in mind that you will need four C batteries to use this (they are not included).

die Uhr ist einfach sooo geil :) - super einfach und schnell zu programmieren. Man hat drei frei programmierbare Modi, bei mir hab ich 5+0 / 10+10 / 15+10 eingestellt - das ist eben das was ich am meißten spiele. Aber auch alle anderen Tuniermodi zB. zwei Zeitkontrollen + Zugzähler etc sind schnell eingestellt. Da kann sich sowohl DGT als auch Saitek mal eine Scheibe abschneiden. Absolute Empfehlung von mir. Live ist die Uhr gut beim YouTube Kanal Coffee Chess zu sehen. Auch ein kleiner Geheimtip der Kanal :) Schachliche Grüße

Es muy bonito, no tan facil de configurar y no se recomienda para exteriores, los numeros no se ven muy bien en ambientes al aire libre con mucha luminosidad, mejor para interiores

I use this for Backgammon, what I love is you can set 3 preset timers, theres a delay option you can adjust to what delay you require, easy to set up once you watch a video, many other functions for games like chess, good quality build, not too heavy, just the right size, could have been a little cheaper but I am happy with it as its easier to use that some other cheaper ones so all in all the price was ok
