Not the Lego I grew up with... It's better with age!
First, let me start by saying like many others I haven't purchased a lego set in over 25 years. I used to be big on the Space theme and the castle theme when I was a kid. But the biggest thing I liked to do with lego was combine sets and make my own creations. I have been seeing a lot of Mechs online made from Lego and decided I wanted to pick up the bricks again and try my hand at it. So I set out to start building my collection. I picket this set as for one it is the current space theme and it looked like it had a good mix of pieces I could use for MOC.This set is so much more advanced then the stuff I built as a kid. The engineering alone on this is just a joy to put together. I might have to buy another one as I don't think I will be able to take it apart. It just looks too cool.Value: Well break down piece by piece you are paying about 9-11 cents a piece. Which is typical for most sets.Quality: Impressive. I don't remember the quality of my lego bricks as a kid being this good. The bricks will last forever if taken care of and can be passed down (eventually my son will be old enough to play with thisOver all the Galaxy Squad is a great addition to the Space theme and I hope they keep it around for a few years. I want more!

We got it for him as his birthday present and he was so happy that he cried when he seen it
My son loves loves loves this. We got it for him as his birthday present and he was so happy that he cried when he seen it. He is a lego junkie and this is a really cool piece....I would have given 5 stars but one of the pieces is the wrong way around. We dismantled and rebuilt 3 times only to realise that it was a manufacturer error. I hope seller will be able to replace. We have to complete it.

Obliterator
The media could not be loaded. This is a magnificent Lego set. It was fun to build and it's fun to play with. It's well designed and holds together perfectly just like all the Lego sets I've ever owned. I'm no kid anymore (my age anyway) but I can appreciate the fun to be had with this set. There are many functions to be played with and they all are implemented flawlessly. I've played with Legos since I was a child and now that I've become older I've started collecting them again. I would have loved to have had this when I was a kid. If you are buying it for yourself or for your child I'm sure it will be well received. As I said it was fun to build and this is one of the things I love the most about Legos. It took me about five hours while I watched TV in the background. You get four mini figs and three vehicles. Two of the vehicles combine into one and is the biggest draw of this set. Just check out my video for more. Also out of all of the other Galaxy Squad sets that I own that came with an extra enemy bug vehicle this one is my favorite. I like everything this set has to offer. So in short I recommend this set.

Huge and Cool
The Bug Obliterator is the largest set (so far) released for the Galaxy Squad line. And this thing seems to live up to its name. It features the Orange Squadron piloting their dual purpose vehicle, which is a large spacecraft that splits into a missile launching APC-type ground truck, and a still-large space fighter with swing-wings, flick fire missiles and A LOT of laser cannons. The Orange Squadron is made of two human members and their robot, which I think is the coolest so far. The robot even has wings that can attach to his armor! While building this set, you almost feel bad for the Insect Alien pilot, who has a much smaller, but still cool, scropion-like craft with which to fight the Bug Obliterator. Like the other larger sets, this Insect Alien vehcile is equipped with one of the purple cocoons with which to capture the Galaxy Squad. Being the largest set in the line, it takes the longest to build (it took me roughly an hour). But the build is fun, and definitely worth the time put in to it.

My 6 year old Grandson is putting this together all by himself.
My 6 year old grandson who is an expert LEGO builder is having a wonderful time putting this set together. He really can't read yet, but is using the pictures to assemble it all by himself. I was a little skeptical because the age on the box says 8 - 14 but I know he has been building LEGO sets for several years now. He really likes this set. It has several main pieces. It was a Christmas gift for him.

Lego love
I have always enjoyed Legos and now even more so as a parent. My daughter and I have great fun assembling and disassembling these sets. This line in particular strikes a chord with me because I am a sci-fi geek and get a real kick out of it. It is well designed and a blast to put together. I look forward to purchasing the rest of this line as I can afford to.

Fun toy to play with.
My 6 year old son thinks this is a cool toy and he enjoys playing with it. He likes how the car comes out of the ship and the bug is a cool toy too. It stays together well, too.

Excellent birthday gift
Bought this for my 9-year old grandson who loves LEGOs. He enjoyed putting it together, and it is very interesting-looking. He especially liked that you could shoot the weapons (don't know how many pieces he has lost!).
