Whether used as a standalone piece during hot weather or layered into your system, the Core Lightweight Crew will perform across all seasons regardless of the pursuit. WHY WE MADE THIS. Hunters are in need of a foundational next-to-skin piece that can span temperature variations throughout the seasons in order to regulate heat and sweat. Our approach was to build a base layer that, when worn, feels like you were hunting with nothing on. We used durable polyester bi-component construction with Polygiene Technology to deliver breathability and moisture management. This crew can be worn as a standalone outerwear piece or layered into a system for all-season hunting.

Great pattern for western WA
I bought the long sleeve for warm days during early bear and grouse season in Western WA. Love the pattern and it seems to be made well. I can't quite figure out what the justification is on the high price for a synthetic fabric stitched together by poor factory workers in El Salvador, but I probably won't purchase this brand at these prices again until they're made by Americans at a fair wage.

Does its job, nothing more
This base layer moves moisture well and the LT fits my 6'5'' 190lb frame well. The textile is extremely prone to snagging and pilling, however. Not worth paying full price for, but grab it on sale and it will integrate well with most layering systems.

Runs small!!
Really wish companies would start making men’s shirts to fit MEN. Runs a whole size smaller. Ordered a large and will return for an XL.

Works as advertised
This shirt is a base layer and fits snugly, but still allows you to move. Wicks moisture quickly and kills odors. I wore mine 6 days in a row, and after 6 days, I figured I would wash it and hang it up to dry. It went from dripping wet to totally dry in less than 2 hours! A lot to pay for 'a shirt', but a great deal for 'hunting equipment', which is how you should view the sitka gear. I can highly recommend this as your base layer from 30-80 degrees!
