Elwyn 50pcs hosta Mix Plant Seeds

Refusing to pay the exorbitant prices for ready-to-plant hostas, I ordered two of the 50-seed packages. I have to admit i was skeptical, but figured I would risk a relatively small amount of money.They arrived in little plastic bags and didn't look too promising. However, my wife found a website that said to mix a bit of hydrogen peroxide in water (VERY dilute), dampen paper towels, put the seeds in the paper towels, fold them, and put in zip top bags. Place them in a well-lit area. The plastic bag keeps the towels from drying out.She checked them every couple of days. They actually sprouted in about a week. There were over 100 sprouts, so the germination rate was over 100% compared to the advertised seed quantity.The first three pictures were taken at 12 days. The results were amazing. She planted them in biodegradable potting cups and will winter them over in our garage and plant outside in the spring.The next four pictures were taken 12 days later. They have been replanted into individual cups and all are thriving at 2-3" tall. The soil is kept moist but not drenched.I will update this review occasionally.

I received 50 mixed seeds (hosta don’t always make seeds of the same plant they came from so no one would know from a seed what type) I saw people complaining in reviews but that is what I expected. I put them on a wet paper towel on a paper plate for about 3 weeks and today I planted 27 sprouts in a dish of shallow soil. So on average that’s pretty good, I expected maybe 10 or 15 to sprout. Now it’s up to me to keep them alive which is never easy but I got what I expected from the seller. Viable seeds that did sprout. So very pleased. Would order again.

Product is garbage 4 plants sprouted the company never responded to my complaints thru amazonAt least half should have sprouted only 4 did

Not the colors they said they were

I didn’t like it because it didn’t grow at all.They kind of dried up

All most thought the packages were empty, very tiny.

Just received this a few days ago. I will keep them and plant this week. However, (see photo) the advertisement was totally inaccurate. I expected to see the colors sorted.... Received 1 bag with all seeds.

Did not know what color I was receiving
