Great book to remind me to stop wrestling life and start breathing and choosing where I want to be.

I read a handful of Alan's book before I decided I wanted to read his first book. It has taken me a long time to read this one because I take it a chapter at a time so I can allow the messages to really absorb inside of me and help me. I have read other books of his and they seem to build on different principles he wrote about here in his first book. I love this book and every book of his I have read!

This guy really has it figured out. For me, this book effectively crystallized all the new age (I wish I could find a better term) teachings that I've gleaned from other sources - it was a great refresher course. He is very readable and presents himself as a fellow spiritual traveller rather than some superior enlighted being (many dislike the superior tone in Eckart Tolle's books). I would give it five stars but for two reasons: I would have liked a little more sharing of his personal stories (they are there, but too few and too brief) and the contradiction in stating that "..if someone really knows the Truth, they are eager to share it" with charging $2000 for his week-long workshop.

I was encouraged to read this book by my intuitive life coach. It's taken me just about two months to read this book. Not because it was difficult, (it is easy to read and enjoyable), but because each time I picked it up to read, I would keep reading until the next chapter didn't speak to me like the previous had. Then when I got the urge to read more I would pick up where I left off, and interestingly, I would find the words resonating with me again. And this has been the most profound experience reading this way, because it appears that as I set the intention to read this book, I was guided into experiences and opportunities in my daily life that would be enriched by the chapter I was currently reading. If you feel attracted to buying this book, it's meant for you. Don't give up on it. I think by buying this book you tune into the vibration of his teachings, and begin a personal transformation. Not as dynamic as the title sounds, but i found some good nuggets

Easy reading Filled with true atories

Cannot say enough about this book. I have left religion and just want a simple spiritual understanding with out all the other junk that goes with it. Alan is so gifted in explaining things in simple terms. I loved this book and could not put it down. "Truth" is all I can say, it washed over my soul & has started unlocking my angry, hardened heart, which I cause because of the false beliefs about myself, God & separation from His love. The mind is very powerful!

Short but very meaningful chapters followed by a brief meditation give a multitude of ideas on living to our full potential as loving, creative, beings on our earth journey to eternal life.

Wonderful book chock full of useful spiritual advice for anyone in all walks of life!! Alan reaches the parts other authors cannot reach.

Lovely full of love led me to discover ACIM and Richar Rohr "The Naked Now" Inspiring and very healing.
