These are wonderful sandals, I'm SO HAPPY to have finally found a durable rope shoe made exactly the same as traditional Japanese waraji! I don't know of any Roman sandal that had this lace configuration, this is a waraji through and through. My days of buying 10 pairs of grass rope sandals at a time and always carrying around a spare pair in case of breakage are over! I've noticed people talking about the slippery sole; if these follow the same rule as grass waraji, they need to be "seasoned", worn through some fine clay mud and gravel to create a natural sole and actually extend the lifespan. I will comment on this as they undergo this process.Edit: the soles don't hold mud like traditional waraji but they do break in and become less slippery. I have worn these all day every day for two weeks and they are as comfortable as the real thing.

These sandals give you the perfect boho vibe. They are very comfortable, but I wouldn’t want to wear them for an all day walking affair. The bottoms kind of form to your feet, which is nice.

These shoes are cute and comfortable. I received compliments on them..very stylish wore them for several hours, just wore them today I recommend them

I bought these sandals for a cosplay that I did. But it wasn't really comfortable after long use. It did the job though and made my cosplay looked great!

Only had them a few days, got them to cosplay in but I feel like buying a second pair just to use around the property well made. Haven't put much use on them yet but I think they will hold up well!

These sandals are very light and pretty, just what I need it for the summer.

Love the way it looks on my feet can’t wait to go on my trip and take pictures and their comfy and cane earlier than expected which was perfect 10/10
