Fit Vegan Protein Bars

I already knew that I enjoyed these bars after finding them at Whole Foods. They are very expensive for single bars, but they meet my dietary needs and don’t spike my blood sugar. I ordered these from Amazon, and they did arrive covered in oil. They are keto, so there should be a lot of oil/fat; it is necessary to compensate for low carb eating! When I contacted the company, they did say that the packaging shouldn’t be leaking, and they quickly sent me a replacement. I am a customer for life! I will say, however, that I will likely order directly from the company and not Amazon. The replacement package was wrapped in an insulating bag along with ice packs, and the outside of the bars is completely clean and oil free. I highly recommend this product if you’re doing keto or are diabetic. I enjoy these daily, sometimes twice a day!

I had one of these that I picked up at a convenient store while traveling and I liked it. I saw that I could get a bulk amount on Amazon and thought they would be as good. Not sure if they were not fresh but they were really oily and did not taste good. I threw the box away after trying a couple thinking maybe it was just that first one.

Bobby Parish from Flavcity put his stamp of approval on this bar in a recent video. He describes as next lev3l ingredients for health and I can say they taste great too. They’re very soft and rich. They satisfy my hunger from breakfast to lunch. My previous go to was the thunderbird bars which are great also but totally different texture. I’say get both and you’re covered but the BHU fit is next level!

I didn’t like these bars! Nutritious but I can’t eat them with a happy smile.

The double chocolate is pretty cravable and the peanut butter is a close second. They are always in stock & arrive quicker than promised. They are high fat and can melt so warm temps are an issue. Cool them down before opening to avoid the oil leaking. They'll firm up again once cool but a little coconut oil glaze will remain on the outside. I just order an extra box or two before the summer months and try not to leave them in the car.

I know you are asking why did I give it 5 stars if I’m not happy with my delivery. It’s because I would not suggest ordering these over the summer. Because all my bars were like soup in a packet. It is very hard to find the flavor I want where I live, so I tried on line. Will wait till winter to order more! Great Product! Just can’t be shipped in this extreme heat!

I”ve researched and tried pretty much every snack bar out there in search of something whose flavor meets my standards for health and nutrition. I wish I could have just returned these bars with a product review and gotten a refund. But, surprise, this one is “not eligible” so unfortunately I have to be honest here. This bar is one of the few out there that is actually all organic AND nutrient dense AND made with no processed or refined sugar, or “natural” sugar that puts the sugar content off the chart. The package arrived well insulated with some lovely cool packs I’m happy to say I can reuse. The taste, incredibly disappointing for the price. Needs a lot of work. Very off flavor, does not taste like cookie dough flavor in the least. Those of us who have made health and wellness central to our world, without sacrificing flavor, know what a hallelujah moment it is to find something pre-packed, that checks all the nutrition and health boxes and actually TASTES GOOD. I’ve had other Bhu products before, with basically good flavor. These are way to greasy ( I get now why the cool packs ) flavorless, and I won’t be buying them again, unfortunately. Perhaps another flavor might be better.

So, buyer beware, these are expensive, might have been worth it as they seemed to be quality ingredients BUT, truly, disgusting. Rancid or just plain awful, not sure. That they are not returnable is insane and this company has forever lost my business. Try a different brand...
