Purple Cleaning Gel

Works great

Have bought several times. It's a slime like material. Due to the material it catches every little thing. The quality is really great lasts a long time! I love the fact that I can clean my entire dash board and still clean other areas with it. Overall it's a great product for the price!

I was intrigued by the concept of slime pulling away dirt and debris in my car. I had a lot of dust on my console panel area and little pieces of who knows what in the cup/coin holders. I have 2 teenagers and they’re not always careful when in my car. The product arrived and I promptly opened it up and was happy to see a seal on top, so knew it was new (if you’ve received used product before, you know what I mean.). I read other reviews where they stated they pulled off pieces of the gel instead of using the whole thing. Such a great idea! I detached a gumball size of the gel and started rolling and pressing it across surfaces I wanted to clean. Works pretty well! Rolling motion captures a lot of the dust and bigger particles. To get to small particles and stuff in nooks and crannies, you have to really press in firmly. Like, to the point I thought I was going to pierce through the gel with my fingers. I would say 95% of the gunk I wanted removed from my car came out. The other 5% requires a strong vacuum. I highly recommend detaching small portions for each use. I used 2 gumball sized portions and seeing how dirty they got, totally black in color, I wouldn’t want to put something even partially that dirty back in the container. This way you know you have clean gel each time.

I've been using this for years, but the latest batch was just plain bad. It was too slimey and sticky to be of any use. All it did was stick to my hands. I couldn't roll it into a ball in the usual fashion. I'd give the latest product I received just one star, but I'm giving the product three stars because it did serve me well over a few years. Still, I'll be looking for a different manufacturer in the future.

This putty quickly removed years of dust and grime build-up from my car dash. Highly recommended.

Pros: Effective Cleaning Power: The cleaning gel works wonders in removing dust, dirt, and debris from hard-to-reach areas, such as car vents, crevices, and gaps. It lifts away grime effortlessly, leaving surfaces looking refreshed and clean. Versatile and Reusable: This gel can be used on various surfaces within the car, including dashboard, console, steering wheel, and door handles. It molds itself to fit into tight spaces, ensuring thorough cleaning. Moreover, it is reusable, so you can use it multiple times before needing a replacement. Easy to Use: Using the gel is straightforward. Simply press it onto the targeted area, lightly press and pull it, and watch as it captures dirt particles effectively. It's a hassle-free solution for keeping your car interior spotless. Non-Sticky Formula: The gel leaves no residue or sticky residue behind, providing a clean and fresh surface after each use. It doesn't leave any marks or damage the car's interior materials. Cons: Limited Lifespan: Although the gel is reusable, it does have a lifespan. Over time, it may lose its adhesive properties, requiring replacement. Not Ideal for Deep Stains: While the gel is excellent for removing surface-level dirt and debris, it may not be as effective on deep or stubborn stains. For tougher stains, additional cleaning methods may be necessary.

The first time I used this it worked great. I only used for a minute, a very small area. I stored it inside so it would be in air condition, as I was concerned heat would ruin it . The second time I used it, it was like slimy water. It just poured out of my hands. It spilled everywhere and stuck on everything. I wish I was able to take a picture of the mess it made but it was all over my hands and I had to wipe it up. The temperature today is a cool 72. So it is not the weather that made it this way. This time it had an overwhelming smell of glue, it for sure did not have a scent either use. This is for sure a one time use product and does not last for months as the product says it will. I also assume that they are referring to it will last for months of use and not shelf life or it would have an expiration date on it. Do not waste your money unless you are ok paying $6 for one time use.

Absolute amazing product for cleaning the car.

I bought this because my son has a bunch of lego sets that he’s built and has displayed so they collect dust. I was nervous that it would be sticky and start to remove the bricks, but it worked great! If you zoom in on the picture you can see on the left how dusty this castle was, and the right is where I’d already cleaned it. It didn’t leave any residue and was simple to use. I will be buying more when I need it. The only slightly negative thing is that you don’t rinse the dust off so it goes from a pretty peach to a nasty brown but it still works so I don’t care!
