Great shoes
I really like these shoes. I wear custom orthotics so I took out the first insole but the shoes felt a little oversize so I put the insole back with my orthotic on top and now they are very comfortable. Time will tell on how long they last.

Great shoes!!
My husband has a very difficult time finding shoes that are wide enough for his feet. This is the second pair of Mt Emey shoes that he has ordered and he LOVES them. He gets many nice compliments about how nice they look, plus they fit will and do not hurt his feet.

Finally shoes that fit! But not quite perfectly...
I have very wide feet. I have to stretch out shoes, and my feet typically extend over the outer edges of the soles. These shoes were the first to actually fit. For that alone I gave them four stars. The shoes seemed to be made very well and as advertised, they are very light weight.I have two issues with these shoes.1 - the double foot beds are not the correct size for these shoes. They are 4E and the shoes are 9E which I could feel the slight gap along the edge.2 - the soles are shaped oddly where the toe is pointed at a sharp, upward angle. It is possible that in time it would soften, but walking in them was awkward as each step was not a rolling motion but more of a sharp change in angle.

Should fit but cannot get on feet
Even though these are a half size bigger than my Apex sneakers, I found these impossible to put on my feet. No matter how much I loosened the laces and placed my foot way forward, back of the shoe prevented me from getting my foot in the sneaker. I tried both my long and short steel shoehorns to assist, but that caused other problems that kept me from getting my foot in them. It's a shame. I bought them so that I could put an orthotic in them to support my arthritic ankles. Instead, I had to send them back.

Comfortable Shoes
As a diabetic, I have difficulty finding comfortable shoes. My feet are changing and 4E wide just doesn't work for me anymore. These shoes are 6E and wide enough to be comfortable and provide good support. Comfortable to wear all day.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
Extremely disappointed. I ordered 9e wide shoes for feet with lymphedema. The label says 9e, but the insert says 6e. The 9e Mt Emery shoes are the same size/width as my old 6e New Balance shoes. The lip above the heel is made so curved that it is nearly impossible to put on without bending the lip into the shoe, thus making it even harder to wear. If you have extra wide feet, this shoe is not for you.

Great for diabetics with feet problems.
The soles of these shoes and quality are outstanding for my diabetic feet! I customize one of these shoes and the other fits perfect.
