Good quality -- fixed my daughter’s phone and stocked up for the future! I used this kit to replace the cracked screen on my daughter’s iPhone 8 Plus, and it worked out well. The screen looks good -- the colors and 3D Touch feel close enough to the original. I was satisfied enough that I bought two more kits -- one for another repair, and one as a backup in case the price increases in the near future. But be prepared to take your time. It took me about an hour and a half to finish, definitely longer than the suggested 30 minutes. Transferring the ear speaker, front camera, and home button from the old screen takes patience, and aligning the waterproof seal is a bit tricky if you want to keep the water resistance. After getting through the repair, my daughter’s phone is back in action. If you’re comfortable with small parts and don’t mind a slow process, this is a good option to get a phone back up and running.

I had an old iPhone 8 sitting unused in a drawer and decided to buy this replacement screen to make use of it again. My brother installed it, and he has no experience with phone repairs, yet we both felt the process was fairly easy. The kit includes everything needed for the installation, even a screen protector, which was a nice bonus. The screen fit well and the touch response works properly. After replacing it, the phone looked almost new. I ended up gifting it to a 12-year-old girl, and seeing how happy she was made it even more worth it. I change my screen all the time but this one has bad Quality & isn’t good at all. Now my screen looks super dull and nothing is vibrant. Everything looks kinda pixie. The screen is also super sensitive so it completely stops working when you put on the case to your phone. Also it doesn’t show the Apple logo when you turn your phone on or off. Nor does it show the charging logo if your phone had died. I Wouldn’t recommend

good kit, includes everything you need to replace the screen. the instructions were clear and I followed them carefully. I’m very happy with the quality of the screen, the screen looks oem. Colors look good, and thr touch screen works well, I just installed it so,I hope it holds up, but overall,for,23 bucks, you can’t ask for anything more. I install3d this on my iPhone SE 2020

I got this installed and working in about 2 hours. I have previous experience doing phone screens. The tools provided were all I needed with the exception of the suction cup which was too low quality to suction. The provided screw magnet with specific places/diagram for the screws as you go was an amazing idea! I'll probably buy a magnet mat and print out a diagram for future replacement projects due to liking this so much, it was very helpful. The biggest con is that neither the video provided here or the ifixit walkthroughs mention to transfer the light sensor and front camera parts. If I had not noticed that the replacement didn't have the housings for those parts already on, I would have missed it and not had a secure front camera or operating light sensor. An annoying con, but not really a big deal, is the screw magnet has color coding for the screw drivers, which are also color coded, that you should use for the specific screws, but it was incorrect for almost all of them. Be careful here or you could strip out these very small delicate screws. I would recommend using the ifixit guide until you get to the point where they, for some reason, stop short and then refer to the video linked in this kit, then go back to ifixit for reverse install. The video provided technically covers it all (except the front camera and light sensor housings), but is not zoomed in enough to really see what you need to do, even for me having done 15 or so screen replacements in the past for various devices.

My screen was shattered and it was activating buttons all on its own. It costs $90 to take it to fix-it place. Having already done that twice, I was ready for an alternative. The directions are clear, the video helpful. I used painters tape and pressed the screws and brackets into them all labeled. Probably took me two hours because I was nervous, but it worked! It comes with a nice screen protector and the next one I have to do will be much quicker. Product approved!

Works 99% of time. Firstly if you’re looking at replacing your screen and have never done it before; watch their video and see if it’s something you’re comfortable with; it’s relatively simple but can be fiddily around the camera and home button. This kit will give you all you need to get it done. I paused and rewound the video when needed to help the process and if I could rate just the kit and video then it would be 5*s but the screen itself isn’t great so brings the rating down - picture quality is the same as the standard screen, but there’s issues sometimes with touch sensitivity (dead zones) and an area of the my new screen that does look ever so slightly lighter than the rest. My main issue with the screen is occasionally when locked, and going to unlock, the screen will go all black for about 30 seconds which can be annoying. I’ve found pressing the lock button instead of the touch button to wake helps this but it’s still there. Having seen other comments most issues with replacement screens in general is finding a good one so it’s kind of a roulette as to what you’re going to get from anyone. These issues I can live with for the price and I’m sure I could have returned the screen for a new one but then I’d be without a working phone for however long, so I’ve decided I can live with the screens “quirks”. Also be prepared they will email spam you to change or delete your reviews.

I paid a lot for this and see after getting it installed, it is howing linings. Yes I got it installed very late but what could have I done? They say they will send me video instruction but neither link not QR code is working that they sent me. Yesterday technician installed it for which I had to pay additional and now I have wasted my 6.5k bucks

Came on time and also has a new tempered glass screen guard to out on when your finished. Comes without any home button but I took off my home button from cracked screen and swapped over. Followed a YouTube video how to do it. Easy enough and took me 30-45 minutes to do

the kit arrived on time and was well organized. the screwdriver tips were better than expected (not soft metal). the screen protector is a nice touch.

Absolutely brilliant! I'm quite surprised how good the screen is. Very responsive and smooth to touch. It fitted perfectly on my phone. Although it came with all the other parts like front camera, earpiece and home button, I decided to replace those with the original parts from my phone. So now I have spares in case I ever need them. Excellent product.
