Great lights! Good coverage. Changed mine to HID....cost a few more bucks but if your gonna do it go all out. They fit my 2011 gmc 2500 duramax perfect! Good lookin light. Just fyi bottom bulb is H1 and top bulb is H7Update. so I have had these lights a little over a year. I was having issues with the bulbs blowing out shortly after purchasing these. we just replaced the headlight (what a pain) everytime. The bulbs were always blown but we never could figure out why but THHHEEEENNNNNNN. One day the bulb blew out a couple of days after a new one JUST got put in and at 60$ a pop I was about to pull my hair out. WHy were these bulbs blowing all the time? the ignitor? the ballast? all morimoto top of the line. for days we tried to figure it out and for some reason we looked in the housing and there it was. A small burned spot on the cast aluminum housing inside. the last bulb that blew literally exploded from tip to bottom and the housing was why. apparently just the left side housing was malformed when cast and anytime I hit a bump or something the bulb would shake and if it was enough when it touched the metal housing it shorted the bulb. if you look at the photo of the housing in the center of the hole you can see the burn mark (its small). So what do I do next? try to get with the manufacturer through amazon....nothing for weeks...so I call....they tell me its out of warranty and basically tough shi@. the way I see it it was messed up from jump ball it just took us that long to figure it out. we figured it was something else. I also asked if I could just buy the left side....NOPE. these guys suck pretty bad on customer service as is but im pretty steamed about this one....ive got to buy another set of housings. I cant just let it go ive got 800$ in morimoto gear just for these things. Anyway where I am now is ive pulled the morimoto altogether and morimoto are going to warranty it all for new since it got cooked on the housing shorting out and im running halogen now....a lot less stressful for sure.So now that ive had these for just over a year the left one (the same one that was malformed) has decided to take on about 4 inches of water in the housing all of the sudden. Now NONE of the lights work at all.....changing my stars from 3 to 1.For this amount of money I would expect better customer service, quality lights and some sort of longevity. These things are just big ole POS.
