FloodPPG 04115 E B Emulsa Bond Latex Paint Primer Conditioner, Gallon

This stuff really makes paint stick! Used it in the primer and top coat to paint our severely weathered old barn doors. You only need 8-16 oz. per gallon of paint. Only mix it with paint you will use up. Paint doesn't store well after adding Emulsa Bond. We mixed it in separate containers as we needed it. We used Emulsa bond with primer coat. Then we used it for the first coat of red color. Final top coat of red paint we did not use Emulsa bond. Final result: beautiful barn doors!

I used this to mix with my paint from reading people's post online when painting an aluminum trailer and this stuff works great! It mixed well and my trailer looks amazing now!

Always have loved this product.I worked for my father's Painting Contractor business, as well on my own, and as a maintenance painter at a hospital ... combined 12 years of professional experience.* Clean chalky surface with physical agitation & soap, then rinse.* This will re-bond some of the chalky paint.* Be ready to clean tools with hair shampoo. You need something to cut the oil, and there is oil in this product.* If it's really hot, you may need to wash out brushes at noon before continuing.* You will need to re-stir the material from time to time, definitely the next morning if painting over multiple days.* Makes the paint very stretch, and improves adhesion.* I find houses I painted lasted 50% longer than houses where customers chose not to use it.* Leave a bucket out in the sun for about 2 weeks, then try (operative work here, try) to remove the paint. You'll find excellent adhesion to plastic, even better to wood or previously painted surfaces!Highly recommend!

Did prep sanding,scraping peeling spots and feathering.Roof rake ,fascia and asbestos sidingwere peeling and I mixed E-BWith primer and applied 1 full coat over it . Did great job sealing and sticking peeling on those areas thenTop coated in semi-gloss enamel overEverything. Looks great

I have used this for over 30 years. When needing to paint metal or other materials that require enamel paint( which I dislike using) just add this to latex, and you are set. It bonds latex paints like enamel but it drys and cleans up like latex. It is so worth it.

It is a great product. I use it in anything outdoors that is being painted. I find it best used in primer on scraped or new wood. Have used it for 20 years
