What can I say that hasn't been already said about Boston's debut album from 1976? Along with "Third Stage" Boston's self-titled album is one of Tom Scholz's masterpieces. Back in the day of 8-track tapes and 3 minute radio airplay, there isn't a bad track on the album. I regularly leave this in the CD player and just hit play. From the acoustic guitar fade in from "More Than a Feeling" to raucous fade out on "Let Me Take You Home Tonight" the album just seems too short of a blissful, musical treat, and it's over before you know it. I already purchased this album on CD back in my college days, in the early 90s. A cousin of mine, knew I was a huge Boston fan, got me "Third Stage" in the collector's gold edition, soon after, so I could replace my cassette copy. I finally got around to getting this album in the same gold edition. Next up is "Don't Look Back" to complete my collection of the "Delp Era". While I do enjoy "Walk On", it's just not the same without Brad Delp.

there are SO many great songs on this CD!! the CD itself is good quality and arrived quickly. it includes a small booklet with the story of the band... I learned some things! classic rock at it's finest!

Schon in meiner Jugend habe ich diese LP geliebt. Meiner Meinung nach eine der besten CD die jemals produziert wurde. Rockfans werden sie einfach nur lieben. Bombastischer Rock, einfach nur absolute Spitzenklasse und ein absolutes Must Have. Jedes der Lieder ist eine Klasse für sich. Auf der CD gibt es kein einziger Song der nur mittelmässig wäre. Hier passt einfach alles. Ich liebe die Musik von Boston heute noch. Wer diese CD zum ersten mal gehört hat wird sie nie wieder aus der Hand legen.
