The pieces are well made, colorful, and easily assembled. The cars can be opened simply by a toddler to board the provided operator and passenger. My 3-gear old really loves this train set. The fact that little people can be put inside each train car is really great and something you don’t often see in other train sets. This makes it where there is lots to do with this train set - not just watch it go along the tracks. The quality of the set is excellent - my toddler has thrown the trains cars across the floor and into stairs, has stepped on them, etc and yet they are as good as new

Loved this train! My kid is two and a half years old and easily manipulates the little wagons with passengers, assembles the rails and uses the light. The tunnel is big enough to fit Melissa and Doug and classic world wagons and the rails are perfectly compatible. Super recomended!

My granddaughter loves trains, and this is the perfect size for an almost 2 year old. It is very solid and will hold up through lots of play. I really like the fact that we can add to it in the future. There are so many quality pieces you can get to add to the set.

I liked that it was the same size as the tracks and train that I had for my kids, since I wasn't sure of the brand of the old set. I wanted to have the old one here for him to play with PS I can't wait to give it to my grandson on his birthday

The quality is good, and the train is fun and easy to play with.But there are barely any parts to play with.There are 3 people, no trees, one train sign, 3 parts of the train..I feel it requires buying the second part..I would be a lot happier if it had more parts.

Got this as a gift for my 3 year old nephew and they say he is really enjoying it! I’m excited to get him some more add-ones for Christmas.

Our son is 41 now. When he was 3 we purchased many Brio pieces bc he so loved to play with the tracks, bridges, people, etc. Now he has twin boys who just turned 3. They love the set & we decided to add to it as there are 2 boys clamoring to play long periods with these pieces. We added several boxes with various activities. The boys LOVE IT!
