Does anyone have experience on how this product works on ticks?

Best product I've found for ticks. With other products they prevent ticks from hitting the cat. But not from hitching a ride into your home and biting you. This it kills the ticks without biting

what is the reaction of cats to this? My cat is 3yrs old but weight only 6 lbs.

My cat show no initial reaction other than anger. He didn't like being held in the suggested position. About four hours later, he acted sick at his stomach for about 15 minutes. I watched him closely. He never threw up. He did experience about ten minutes of salivating heavily. I was still watching him closely. When about 25 minutes had past, he acted like he felt better. He came for loving, drank some water and insisted I go to bed so he could too. He sleeps on me. I will watch him very closely next month when it will be time for a 2nd treatment. Oh. The fleas were much better. We have a dog that seems to bring in fleas every time she goes out in spite of her flea meds. We will switch her meds. So. Watch for several hours. Monitor closely any unusual reactions. If her responses are extreme, take her to a vet.

At what weight does dose lose it' effecacy? My biggest cat is 19 lbs.

Catego is recommended for all cats over the weight of 1.5 pounds. It does not lose efficacy as the weight of the cat increases!

The label says it's quick-drying - how long does it take to dry? Is it faster than other flea products you've used?

HI Serena,The product is being absorbed into the skin, that's how it protects your kitty for a month.If you're referring to the residue that absorbs into the hair, it is much more minimal due to the applicator.It really does help target just the skin.Regarding actual time for hair to "dry", well it's less greasy than Advantage 2 but, I'd say drying time still takes about 8-10 hours for oily hair to fade away.
