Cherry Blossom

Oddly enough I don’t use this for umbrellas. I use it for canes. I need a cane to be mobile but, I make it a fashion statement. So I have several to match different outfits so naturally I need a place to store them. If my canes are a fashion statement so must be the container that holds them. It’s beautiful and holds all my colorful canes. It is sturdy enough for its purpose and of course matches my home decor. It’s perfect for me!

Absolutely perfect!

I have ordered TWO Horse In Garden umbrella stands. NEITHER item received has been correct although the box is labeled Horse in Garden. The first is enroute in return. The second one I’m forced to keep because instead of a refund to my checkcard as requested, Amazon only gave me a credit. I can’t afford to have $250 tied up with Amazon. The product images are a hastily made, sloppy attempt at rendering an Asian design. The ceramic container is nicely finished and the colors are attractive. I won’t be able to enjoy the piece since it’s not the correct design and the transaction unfair.

Beautiful porcelain. Very heavy and sturdy. I use if to hold lots of long umbrealls at the entry way. Nice decor piece.

It's not bright enough for me, like they put a varnish over it, maybe to antique it. Otherwise it matches the bowl perfectly. Well packaged, fast shipping. Fills the blank epace by the door.

After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit skeptical but I ordered the cherry blossom design. I looked into the prices of umbrella stands and this was actually not pricey at all compared to what they typically cost...I had no idea that umbrella holders were so expensive in general. I received it today and I am very happy! The other reviews are correct about the color. I expected it to be grey where it is pictured as white and it is, in fact, grey and not white. I've never done ceramics but my mom has. I think this color thing results from the firing process but maybe I'm wrong. It is not a bad color, though, and I imagine it would be really nice with the blue patterns. Also, the quality is better than I expected from the reviews. The finish is smooth with no imperfections. The print around the top does not completely go all the way around but it does not impact the attractiveness of the holder. It is only a gap of less than half an inch and it is not really noticeable. It does make clear that the designs are decals that are put on before the holder is glazed. I don't have a problem with that at all. The job was nicely done. It came packed really well in styrofoam, then in a box, then in an even larger box. I had no problems with cracks or anything. I would recommend this holder...give it a try. I did and it worked out fine. (I have uploaded a pic to illustrate the color.)

The porcelain umbrella stand is very attractive and holds a lot of umbrellas. It is also very decorative. I highly recommend it.
