Works as advertised
HOW TRUE Golf Putting Cup Golf Ball Return Putting Machine looks like all of the other advertised ball return machines (there was no logo on the top of the machine as shown in the display pictures). Although I use it for shorter distances, with new batteries, the kick back is about 10 feet plus on a medium nap rug and is sufficient for my needs. Here in the north east, in December, it's a little too "cool" to go over to the golf course putting area to practice. This machine makes it convenient not only to practice putting but also to keep your interest up until April/May when you can get back to an actual course. Unnecessary, but a nice touch and it did influenced me to buy from "How True", was the three golf balls that were included with the machine. There is a slight noise when the ball is kicked back to you but it is not of any concern to me nor a reason not to buy or use the machine. I still have, and use, a "manual" putting cup. A feature of this manual cup is that you do not have to stroke the ball stiffly to have the ball fall into the cup. With "How True" there is a slight incline you must overcome to "sink" the putt. However, after three putts, with the manual cup, you must retrieve the balls to start over. With "How True", the ball is kicked back after each putt. This speeds up the number of putts you can putt during your practice time.

Good for the price
For the price you cant beat it. It does seem a bit fragile. But it does its job.

Cover to battery area needs to be taped.
Cover to battery area has to be taped shut. Covet falls off easily.

Jammed
Sensor seems to be jammed. Constantly trying to return the ball, even when nothing is there. Very disappointed.Update: I took the unit apart and was able to fix the jam by loosening an internal screw. It was a simple fix but I think speaks to the lack of quality control.
