i used to have 5200 rpm hdd on my laptop. even getting updates was difficult to install. then i got this ssd. man oh man it makes a hell lot of difference now. im not gonna say this will make your pc ultra fast but you will be able to see the difference in the speed of booting. and im totally satisfied with this product. very good ssd. if you are on a strict budget and looking for an affordable ssd then this is it.

reviewed after use of 6 days , bought at 3299 rs 512gb. Speed is good at price point but little bit heating issue, temperature always between 60 to 65 'c , but there is no effect on perfomance. Recommended for daily tasks

After some research, zeroed in on the Silicon Power XS70 , for my PS console. Considered external SSD , but PS cannot start games from external SSD. Have to move to console storage beforehand.Installed it myself, and getting 6.08 GBPS write speed, right off the bat. 300+ GB moved from console storage to SSD in less than 3 minutes. Be advised, download speeds are dependent entirely only on your Internet speed.Overall SSD Price/ Performance ratio , best in this segment. The built-in Heatsink drops temperature by 20%-25 % while running, give or take.Check if seller is "Silicon Power Official Store" before buying. The price varies otherwise.

Instead of a speed rated external ssd I have been using this drive on my xbox series console coupled with a PiBox nvme enclosure rated at 10gbps. Works super fast and very much cost effective If compared with a similar storage external ssd.

Definitely surprised with the performance this SSD gives you at such a low price point. Works extremely well with PS5 Slim, if you want to upgrade yours, go for it blindly!

So I received the product with some damage on the inner packaging and didn't think much of it.The drive was detected, but it showed a constant temperature of 65C from the system start, which is unusual.Then the drive crashed as any read/write operation was initiated. This meant that the controller on my module was defective.Unfortunately, getting warranty support or an RMA is near impossible because if a local Supertron store doesn't have this in stock, you'll have to ship your product to California.I also noticed that the price jumped by about 50% the very next day I ordered, and the seller changed to Clicktech retail instead of SP, which seemed a bit odd to me.Consider buying this only if you get a good deal on it, and if you're planning to use it as a secondary drive. Be prepared to deal with issues though, the controller on my drive is completely dead now, and I only powered it on thrice.

Worked well for 2 days, good read write speeds as well. But after 2 days it stopped working. Got it replaced which is working fine.

The SSD quality and performance is great given the price. For average home user, this does very well. The speed and response times are good. Would definitely recommend.
