Right off the bat, the standout feature of these shin guards is their combination of durability and lightweight construction. These are very durable shin guards. I’m the training coordinator for a police department and we use them during defensive tactics training. Awesome product!

Complete padding especially at the foot/ankle intersection.

These shin guards feel good to kick in and seem to be made from quality material. Thick padding all the way to the feet and they're sized nicely. Only thing I don't like is how long the leg straps are. My calves aren't huge but I'm not skinny either. There is to be too much extra strap which will lead to scratching your sparring partners with the velcro, and it's annoying to feel it flapping around. All in all these are some nice shin guards, just don't like how long the straps are.

Nice fit, good construction, at a very fair price. Furthermore, Revgear is a good company with a very solid reputation behind it. These shin pads feel very comfortable, and don’t get hot and sticky like some of the cheaper brands. Except for the unavoidable added weight inherent in all shin guards, it is easy to forget you are wearing them. I also appreciate that they have a softness to them, that provides for flexibility while providing ample protection. The only thing is that I got the black/black style, and it is a bit difficult to see the Revgear name on the front of the pad, but I really could not care less. (Unless they are sponsoring you, I could not see this as being a priority or even a point to consider.) Anyway, stop being cheap, and go ahead and buy this very decent piece of equipment.
