Joico Color Balance Blue Shampoo, 33.8 Ounce

My natural hair color is brown with red tones. I have now gone naturally gray. The Joico blue balance shampoo keeps the brassy tones away leaving a really nice gray color. I've used it for a year now. Love it.

Easy. Blue shampoo will reduce brassy orange tones and purple will reduce yellow tones. Great product with regular use to wash away the orange.

I’m only writing a review because the other reviews are kind of crappy so here’s a neutral one: I like this shampoo and I am repurchasing it even though it’s $30. I color my hair black and like to keep red tones out of it (blue black).>>TIPS: use one pump of this on scalp, rinse, then use 1 pump *mixed* with same amount of a moisturizing shampoo of your choice. (That way it tints your moisturizing shampoo.) Start midway (head crown) and lather to ends.>>The point here is to keep your scalp (or bangs if you have them) from being over moisturized by a different brand shampoo.I see it as a major plus this shampoo “isn’t moisturizing” as people are complaining about, because there are other shampoos and conditioners for that, for those who want it. Too much conditioning really flattens my hair out though.Enjoy
