How much will a 12 once bottle treat? I have a 5 gallon system and will be adding it to used coolant.

First of all I would flush & refill your coolant. I recommend Prestone 50/50 Extended Life even if your vehicle calls for Dex-Cool. Go to any place that does coolant flushes. Used coolant will not get the same results. In new coolant, the results will vary. Water Wetter will be pushed to it's limits but will still work in a 5 gallon system. The temperatures might not drop enough if stretched out that far in a large system to condone the price paid. If anything does work in this category though, it is either Water Wetter or Royal Purple's Purple Ice.

Do I add this to the reservoir or the radiator?

Add it to the radiator, if you can.

Can I use this with just distilled water in the winter without using antifreeze?

I have tested the water wetter at a ratio of 12 oz of to 116 oz of distilled water. i buried the gallon jug halfway deep in the snow and came out and checked the next morning early and the mix was still fluid. test this for yourself.
