I'm a side sleeper using a full-face mask for CPAP therapy, and this pillow is excellent for letting me sleep without worrying about displacing my mask. The tapered corners fit the mask well (I use size L) and the designed depression is deep enough to allow my head to be supported without shifting the mask, and shallow enough to give the mask some support and not feel like I'm sleeping over an edge. Symmetry means I can shift from the left to right side easily.It also comes inside a removable, washable cover (though because the zip it uses is not that sturdy, I recommend using a good pillow cover in addition, to reduce the number of times you have to take off and wash the original cover) and the memory foam has maintained shape and support over ten months of use.I have noticed discolouration on the memory foam on the surfaces with contact with my head, which I assume is from sweat (I have always been a sweaty sleeper), so I'm buying a second one to rotate the use of the pillows, and sunning the one not in use.Overall the price is steep, but it is worth it for me because no other pillow that is cheaper offers the same tapered design, perfect for my side sleeping preference.
