If you're into learning Hebrew this book is a must for both written and spoken courses

I really like learning vocabulary using pictures arranged by topic. It helps to have the transliteration of the word there too. Overall this is a very well-designed learning tool. I'm an adult learner and practicing going through vocabulary in this way is helping me speed up. Better than flashcards, which is what I use for Russian vocabulary.

Avevo solo 3 anni quando mi regalarono le mie prime mille parole in inglese. Stesse immagini ma questa volta in ebraico. È un libro rilegato bene, la qualità della carta e della stampa sono ottime. Utilissimo sia per coloro che sono alle prime armi con l'ebraico che per un ripasso veloce per i più esperti. Bello anzi bellissimo!

This is an excellent picture hunt book for anyone beginning or reviewing Hebrew nouns and verb infinitives. All Hebrew words are spelled with their nikkud, vowel pointings. There is a pronunciation guide in the back of the book. Often, the pictures with spellings make up a border around a center illustration that contain the same pictures without spellings. This provides an excellent means for self testing. Note: This book doesn’t teach any sentences, phrases or verb conjugations. This book is also offered in six other languages! I love it!
