No more blood on my fretboard!
I was sceptical. I really didn't believe I could play guitar with a glove on. I am 65 and have been playing guitar over 50 years. It brings me lots of joy. I developed psoriasis on my hands about 10 years ago that mostly affects the middle and index fingers on my left hand. My fretting hand. Those fingers will swell, then itch, then weep, then split and bleed. Playing guitar becomes nearly impossible when it flares up, which makes me sad and cranky. I would still try to play but it would be painful and makes a bloody mess of the fretboard and salty blood wrecks steel strings. Out of desperation, I searched for guitar gloves and found these, not really believing they would be a viable solution. I was wrong. They are wonderful. Barre chords would tear the skin off my fingers before. I can now slide up and down the fretboard without damaging my fingers and actually my hand glides better with the glove. I figured that open chords might be more difficult to play without deadening adjacent strings, but that is not the case. After a few minutes, I was able to play with the same tone and accuracy, and without the pain and mess. I measured my hand as described and was on the small side of medium so I ordered small. I'm glad I did. They fit tight, which is good. I take my time putting the glove on, one finger at a time. Don't just yank on the cuff! I ordered 2 as I didn't think they would last very long, but I have at least 4 hours of playing time on the first one and it shows no signs of wearing out any time soon. For my particular needs, I couldn't be more delighted!Edit Jan. 28, 2022As mentioned, I ordered 2 of these. 14 months later, I'm still using the 1st one. I use the ring finger on my fret hand a lot bending strings so the tip of the glove for that finger has worn through. It still works fine for me as I have callus on my finger tips and the psoriasis doesn't affect my finger tips. If I live long enough to wear the second one out, I'll order these again!

I don't play without them
I've been using these for 6+ years. I developed a sweating problem that kills my strings, and I like my bass strings bright and clangy. I also have severe arthritis. One of these on my left hand and my strings last many months. The compression also helps with my arthritis. One note...the construction of the gloves changed a couple years ago. The new construction wears out much quicker than the original material. I have gloves from when I first started using them that have pilled, but are still not worn out. The new ones wear out at the fingertips, but they do not pill. (Pill, like a sweater.) I'd give a 5 star rating if they lasted like the original gloves.

If you have sensitive fingers, practice a lot, it's a good idea to get a pair of these
I followed the sizing guide before I bought these gloves, and when they arrived and I pulled them out of the package; I thought uh oh, they're way too small. But, they did fit, like a glove. They're made frome the same nylon women's panty hose are made from, but the upper part where it's thicker and reinforced. They stretch as you pull them on, smooth them onto your fingers and they fit very closely. Playing and strumming the strings on my uke was easy and comfortable. The left hand had a good grip around the neck with no tendency to slip or slide. Bending my fingers was effortless. Strumming with my right hand was much easier because my fingertips are very sensitive. The sound quality is of leather or felt picks, somewhat attenuated and soft. They aren't too noticeable at a distance because of the skin color and no wrinkles. The low cost makes these a pretty good value. But a reminder, use the sizing guide, and if you fall in between two sizes, go up the next size.

Not sure I like these yet.
Lost my callouses while sick. These take some getting used to. I am a rhythm guitarist, so I don't slide around like a soloist. But I haven't played a gig yet. Bottom line; keep working on your callouses. There is really no substitute.UPDATE: Just played a small gig, but before I left, I cut it off at the palm. The thumb, palm and wrist were too cumbersome. The fingers worked great though. Probably won't last long as they're already fraying where I cut them. But they got me through.

Great to relieve cuts and scrapes on fretting fingers
The pad part of my pinky was sliced by the E string during a gig. I sometimes use my pinky pad for 4 or 5 fret stretch or slide. Painful as it was, I had to adjust my pinky use but got through the gig and three more before the gloves came in. My pinky was healing somewhat but still tender whenever the sliced part of the pad came close to a string, so I used the gloves for my practice session the day I got it and it protected my sliced up pinky very well. I've been using the gloves ever since during practice sessions and this is mho on the gloves:1. It does protect your fingers and finger pads from slices or cuts from the strings and relieves your fingers from pain very well if you already have a cut or slice.2. As shown on YouTube video reviews (google it), It allows clear and precise fretting of the guitar (or I imagine any stringed instrument that you need to fret).3. The gloves I ordered and received fits very well except that the fingers for my ring and pinky are about 1/8" to 1/4" too short. But I wouldn't take any stars away for that since it's made for universal fit and not custom fit.4. Using the glove gave me an initial "crowded" feel and my 3rd finger and pinky seemed weakened, probably due to the shortness of those glove fingers. But I ignored it during my practice session, and after the session, I decided to play a song without the gloves and to my surprise and elation, my fingers felt as if they had all the room in the world to maneuver. Definitely a win!I can't speak to the durability of the gloves since I've had them for only a few weeks, but it seems to be holding up fine. I did put one in my gig bag in case I slice my finger(s) again. I'm confident that I'll be able to use it on stage if I need to.
