KT Tape, Pro Extreme Synthetic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 20 Count, 10” Precut Strips

The KT Tape Pro is VERY adhesive! So much so that it is difficult to remove all of it when I take it off. Rubbing alcohol works though! It has helped during my workouts tremendously! It is not water proof but the original KT Tape was.

My flag football/basketball athletes use it. We love it. Effect and last.

This tape works wonders and sticks and stays in place. It is waterproof as well.If you are unsure how to tape, there are videos you can watch so you'll get the best use. Some tapes don't stick and for what you pay, they need to work, In my humble opinion.

It seems to hold best if you heat it after application with a blow dryer set to high and smooth the tape with your hands. I wear the tape on my knee and pant/skirts always cause it to curl off, so to keep it from getting curled off I wear stockings (cut off at the ankle and hemmed) or snug leggings under my pants or skirt. Works like a charm.I did not mean to get black - I thought I had selected beige and after I received the order found that somehow it had gotten switched to black.

KT tape works very well to help temporarily curb the pain when you are exercising!

Pros: it works!Cons: not at all waterproofI’m giving it 5 stars because it works. I have had plantar fasciitis in my left foot for 2+ years now. I have done everything I can think of to help it. Insoles, shoes, sleeping in a boot, other wraps and contraptions, ice, heat, stretches. You name it Ive done it. I’ve finally given up on trying to help it and quit looking for stuff for a year. Then, This tape randomly came across my FB and I decided to read the comments. I seen the raving reviews but was skeptical because every other thing I’ve purchased had just as good of reviews. I figured what’s another 15$ down the hole at this point.After the first initial taping it was miraculously better. I don’t know what sorcery this is but I’m so glad I gave it a shot! My pain is gone! I’ve had it a week and I haven’t stopped taping myself yet. I want to use it for a while in hopes it might correct the issue. The only downfall is that it is NOT waterproof or water resistant. I have to shower everyday, and the second I step in the shower it slides right off. That does make for easy peeling if you are ready for it to be off, because when it’s dry it sticks so well. It’s not great when you are wanting it on for a few days to not have to buy so much. I’ve done the prep- shaving, exfoliating, making sure the area is clean, even cleaned area with alcohol. Then once on I rub it real good. As long as I keep it’s dry It stays on perfectly fine for a few days. Some parts still stick okay when wet, but not enough to be able to salvage it and wear another day. I’ve tried wrapping my foot up to keep it dry but water still manages to get in and ultimately ruins the wrap. I won’t reduce the stars just for the fact it is the only thing on this planet to help so far. I don’t know how long I can afford to keep using 2-3 pieces a day though.

I do love the KT tape. I even got the pink polka dot to be trendy. Worked great on my knees. Followed the video in the directions. They go a little fast but kept rewinding.Now I need on my hand. I tried to move a heavy box and throbbing since Feb. 2022. Of course I should see a Dr. She did send me for an X-ray. Noted degenerative changes. Don’t know how since nothing to compare to. Need specialist now.So I followed directions and when I wash my hands. I only get the fingers on that hand. In an hour or so the tape starts coming up as seen in picture. The other side is fine. Maybe it’s because it is my dominant hand. Feels much better since using the tape. But changing strips once or twice a day. Maybe just should try taping the top only. But, not water resistant. Soaks in moisture and loosens tape. Still my favorite. Feels like wearing a brace. It’s amazing. Just have to order too soon and expensive.So, my stars above are only related to the hand. Tape excellent everywhere else.
