I love this hot water bottle, and have been using it almost daily. Like a couple other reviewers I experienced a leak and woke up one morning to a little water in the bed. After testing the bottle for leaks I couldn't find any and quickly realized I didn't tighten the stopper enough. There is enough resistance when screwing on the stopper that, if you're not paying attention, you might think you have it tight enough, but you'd be wrong. Always give the stopper an extra turn until you absolutely can't tighten it anymore and you should be safe. Video included to show appropriate amount of tightening.Now that I'm consciously tightening it as much as I can I haven't had any more leaks. It's kind of a hassle and a bit of a safety concern to have to do that so I took away a star, but otherwise this is a fantastic product. I still recommend it to family and friends.

I recommended this product to so many people! I thought it was perhaps one of the best things that ever happened to me as I was sleeping better than ever before. But, this morning, I woke up at 4am absolutely soaking wet and cold. My mattress was soaked, pillow, and my pajamas. I’m not sure where the leak came from, but the stopper was in tightly and it could have been very slowly leaking all night. I’m so disappointed because I had a month of warm and anxiety free sleep. But who wants to wake up in a cold puddle?
