TRILLION DOLLAR COACH (B PB)

Good book

It is an awesome read if you are or to-be people manager; business leader; entrepreneur. It talks of the key traits to be a successful coach. If you are very experienced (say, > 20 yrs) in the industry, you may get a feeling that you would have realized all or a few of what is mentioned here. Finally, it makes you realize how important a coach is in one’s life - for individuals and teams and how one can be effective being a coach. I wish businesses inspire from this book.

Good book

This book gives a very different perspective to Silicon Valley. Usually we believe that to be a great & successful leader or entrepreneur one need to be ruthless and autocratic. However Bill Campbell gave a completely different perspective to leadership. You can be kind and generous and yet be equally successful. Must read for all managers and entrepreneurs.

Though book got los of gems but this is more like a respect to Bill Campbell. Good read though points to take away is less

A fine book. Mr Campbell's character and good traits have been brought out well. His manner of coaching can well be used by managers and coaches, particularly team coaching.

Start to finish, this book is full of life and professional lessons. My habit of highlighting key takeaways from the book that I am reading was put to tremendous usage and made it one of my top 3 books of all times for giving me so many key points!

The idea of what a coach is , his actions, his thought process and people process.Shud definetly read, to have a view on how the leaders of large corporation work and solve their problems and issues.
